A man possessed today, absolutely ****ing brilliant. Deserved a goal.

What a performance from him today. He seems to suit playing wide a lot better, willing to take on his man with the strength he has if not the pace. His passes seem to stick and it was great work from him to set up the goal.

I haven't slated him i think the last few games he's played really well and deserves a place in the starting 11. Really glad he came on as he links well with Hume, better than Howard does!

The guy was just brilliant today - his positioning, strength, work rate and touch all top notch.

Playing alongside someone who works that hard must inspire you to perform.

He did dummies. he kept the ball in play and got it back incredibly then ran into the box and got a corner, he has some Ronaldoesque touches and flicks. But the greatest moment for me was when he shoved the Barnsley defender and went face to face with him, as if to say, i'm Barry Hayles piss off.

Legend performance. Whether he will start next week i don't know, it may be better to bring him off the bench again. Would certainly rather he came on at half time- than start and go off after 1 hour or so.

I knew Barry would play well today.

It was MY doing, obviously. I bought a picture of him for a quid from the megastore the other day and modified my shirt somewhat accordingly.
