tartanowl Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 After your great result at Barnsley I am genuinely terrified of this game now. If the results go against us you could end up relegating us. I had been confident we'd stay up all season but after yesterdays game I'm not anymore. Blackpool were awful but we couldn't even get a point against them. That was probably one of our worst performances all season. Some of our fans even started fighting with each other at one point. Our midfield was non-existent, some of the loanees look to have just given up, we have horrendous injury problems, and we've lost another defender to suspension. I'm resigning myself to League 1. The afterthought is absolutely horrendous too. Possibilities of administration, no takeover, and what could end up being the worst crowds ever in our history. Our club as it is now is on it's knees and if the same people are in charge next year I fear for its existence. Our board and CEO are still suing fans, people are losing their passion for the club, and they've had the cheek to put ST prices up AGAIN regardless of what division we're in. A 13% rise after the treatment we've had from them the last few years is a step too far for me. If they're not gone I won't be at Hillsborough next season. Sadly for SWFC I'm far from on my own in that respect too. Finally I'd say enjoy the game next weekend but I really hope you don't. I hope we both stay up but we NEED those points. UP THE OWLS!
the beange Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 apparently someone is bringing 5000 balloons to the game. if this happens and everone lets go it will look amazing. im definatly bringing some down along with the flag the scarf and the voice

If you lose to us and (provided QPR beat Norwich) then it's not all bad - You can still sort it all out on the last day of the season against Norwich. Winner takes all and loser goes down.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 It would be very fitting if we registered our first back-to-back win in a relegation dog fight on the 2nd last matchday of the season...
Phlashman Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Can't we just all learn to get along? I'd be happy if they don't repeat their goal of the season competition from last year.
Micky Ruddle Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Don't worry. No 'hooligan' or 'racist' like myself will be attending. I have a cricket match to attend in Enderby.

Corky Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 Please lads, just win next week and then we can look forward to next season and our push for the Promised Land
Daggers Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 apparently someone is bringing 5000 balloons to the game. if this happens and everone lets go it will look amazing. im definatly bringing some down along with the flag the scarf and the voice Balloons are a sodding nuisance at a football match - flags, scarves, singing are one thing...but they don't end up on the field like they did at Everton. I swear, if we lose this match because of a balloon-related fiasco then I'm tearing Bentley's Roof a new arsehole.

Let's hope our keeper has a bit more smarts about him.
Maybes Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 I'll take five pints, three points and a cheese&onion cob.And another sore throat. You in L1 again?
Daggers Posted 20 April 2008 Posted 20 April 2008 You in L1 again? I'm escorting the good lady AOWW. But I think the season ticket decision has been made - L1 next season.

Don't think it has anything to do with Bentley's Roof weren't they from the OS forum.
Ultra Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 After your great result at Barnsley I am genuinely terrified of this game now. If the results go against us you could end up relegating us. We won't. Southampton don't play until Monday night, and I can't see them winning at West Brom (even though we managed it!). Let's hope Rob Styles isn't the ref this season. He's already sent us down once in his career.
davieG Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Leicester City look set to take on Sheffield Wednesday in front of their biggest home crowd of the season on Saturday. The Club confirmed on Monday morning that over 24,000 tickets had already been snapped up for the hugely important Championship fixture - with the Owls selling out their entire allocation of 3,200 tickets a fortnight ago. And with demand set to continue in the build up to the game, the Foxes could well be hanging up the full house signs outside the ground ahead of the fixture.
Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Mandaric should make sure there are 32,500 fans in the ground on Saturday, even if he has to give some tickets away. Any fans who moan because they have paid for a ticket already, fook off. We need this win.

And with demand set to continue in the build up to the game, the Foxes could well be hanging up the full house signs outside the ground ahead of the fixture. Does that mean 24,000 including the Wednesday fans? Or 24,000 and the Wednesday fans making it 27,200?

Any fans who moan because they have paid for a ticket already, fook off. We need this win. I reckon we'll get 27-28.000 easily. Not sure about full house though.
Daggers Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Don't think it has anything to do with Bentley's Roof weren't they from the OS forum. I'm just going on something I read on TB but can not be bothered to reference Mandaric should make sure there are 32,500 fans in the ground on Saturday, even if he has to give some tickets away. Any fans who moan because they have paid for a ticket already, fook off. We need this win. I'd rather have a hardcore of 4,000 vocal fans than 30,000 silent bodies soaking up the noise. If they don't care about the team enough to pay for a ticket they can sod off. This game isn't about building a fan base for the future, it's about our future next season...loyal supporters only please

Can't we just all learn to get along? I'd be happy if they don't repeat their goal of the season competition from last year. Doubt that'll happen this time. Although I'll take any form of goal. We won't. Southampton don't play until Monday night, and I can't see them winning at West Brom (even though we managed it!).Let's hope Rob Styles isn't the ref this season. He's already sent us down once in his career. I hope you're right. Sadly I have a feeling the pigs will lie down on the last day of the season anyway so it may end up being too much for us.
Joe. Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I really hope Wednesday stay up honestly, and there's still a lot of hope for you lot looking at Southampton's results. I'd very, very happily take a point Saturday. And if QPR win, even better.
Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I'm just going on something I read on TB but can not be bothered to reference I'd rather have a hardcore of 4,000 vocal fans than 30,000 silent bodies soaking up the noise. Perhaps Milan could arrange a series of heats to find suitable fans for the free tickets.
mancunianfox Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Not sure why but I'm really looking forward to this one. Maybe its because I have been fortunate enough to have been absent from Filbert Way since the 4-0 against Norwich.
