The People's Hero Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 KM loved his TJS. I assume he still does.
Simi Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Dominoes sent me a voucher today. 1 large pizza and a garlic bread for £10!! NICE!
Unabomber Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Kashmir Tandoori - Coalville Cant beat Indian food HAHA Brilliant little place with good food and great prices.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 I love a Chicken Tikka Naan bread from JBS on Narborough Road. To hell with their sad face rating on cleanliness from the council - they've got a flat screen telly and loads of posters for Bhangra concerts. It's ace
Head Honcho Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Anyone who doesn't believe a Kebab is the best thing since sliced bread should be spit-roasted
Durnerz Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 Indian, 7 days a week! Bless your arse! I voted Subway, love the place! Agree with the shouts of Dominoes Pizza too, dee-lish!
Daggers Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 I feel I should give a shout out to TJs on behalf of Knighton Matt. They have a cafe in TJ Max?
Ultra Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 You forgot fish and chips, you can't beat a good chippy!!!
Koke Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 One of those on Evington Road does it for me. Kortoba, or whatever it is called, those Arabs. Best take aways ever.
Fox You Forest Posted 25 April 2008 Posted 25 April 2008 HAHA Brilliant little place with good food and great prices. Yeah, a few of us were saying how good the prices were the other day and there pretty big portions too and taste great its Win/Win there.
LeeCovFox Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 One of those on Evington Road does it for me. Kortoba, or whatever it is called, those Arabs. Best take aways ever. I used to love Bluepoint on Evington Road when I lived in Leicester. Its been nearly 6 years since I left now so it may not even be there any longer.
Unabomber Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Yeah, a few of us were saying how good the prices were the other day and there pretty big portions too and taste great its Win/Win there. Yeah for sure, they do great curries too.
Koke Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Stuff like Maryland or Maxim chicken is disgusting! I'd only eat at Maryland if I was about to die of hunger and it's the only available place. Or unless it's like 1.30 am and most decent take aways in town are closed and I'm absolute starving.
Alexikokopops Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Curry. Lots of curry. The Mowgli Indian Restaurant in Metheringham (bet you all know where that is) is the greatest in the world. Fez, lets go for a curry after I've got my Stoke ticket after the match tomorrow.
blue blood Posted 26 April 2008 Posted 26 April 2008 Chips!! I had to change Chip shops, as I went to my local in Oadby, and the Turkish guy was on the floor making love to what I can only describe as his brother, at that point I asked for a large chips, but as you can imagine I was reluctant to ask for Chilli sauce. I would not have minded but they had this 2 year old serving, he could not speak many words and was changing his own nappy at the time. I was about to walk out, but then I asked one of the brothers "Hey Abdoula? whats going on?" He said "dont worry boss, this is just how we play Twister in Turkey, would you like mushy Peas?" I said "yes Please"
geordie_fox Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Cant beat a TJ's after a night out! though wouldnt dream of eating it when sober
Uncle Albert Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 All this crap about Kebabs is putting me off my Cantonese Spare Ribs. Subway is the King when it comes to them, Macky's and others. And for some reason whenever I have a KFC the chips are always cold!
Bert Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 This thread is like my worst nightmare. I cannot choose one, so will have to opt for them all.
James. Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I could eat curry until the cows come home. Where does that phrase come from? Where IS home for a cow?
Fox You Forest Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I could eat curry until the cows come home.Where does that phrase come from? Where IS home for a cow? Who cares where it comes from lets chop it up and put it in a curry.
Bert Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I could eat curry until the cows come home.Where does that phrase come from? Where IS home for a cow? Fields.
James. Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Fields. Well yeah that's what I thought. But then if I eat curry until the cows come home then surely the majority of them are already at home meaning I don't actually get to eat much curry. I'm confused. And annoyed. F**king cows.
