Tommy G Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Anyone else feel like the whole thing was going to collapse after we scored the first? The place wen't mad, especially when Chelsea Dagger was played and everyone started jumping up and down. Maybe it was just where I was sitting? The stadium is probably designed to move a bit, but it still was a little worrying.
Koke Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 When we scored it was shaking. When they scoed it was shaking too.
Messi Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 When we scored it was shaking. When they scoed it was shaking too. and when they did that bouncing thing

lildave3 Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 The damn roof was moving at one point, there I am slumped in my seat after the third goal and i'm rocking like mad.
Corky Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Of course it will shake with my weight jumping up and down on it. You're not one of those size-zero models then?

AoWW Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 It was shaking? Can't say I noticed - no sense, no feeling, I guess. Perhaps my body just isn't as finely tuned as TommyG's? I reluctantly admit it's no zen-like temple of tranquility.
FilboFox Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 It was MENTAL! The whole stand was shaking when those tw*ts in the away corner were bouncing around... and I was in the kop, thats how far away it could be felt!!! It was awful enough to see them winning and enjoying it so much but to have our stadium shaking because of them just made it even worse...
Chairman of the Bored Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I must admit I felt the ground move. But that was later on in the evening........
Finnegan Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Of course it will shake with my weight jumping up and down on it. Aren't you pretty skinny?
Tommeh Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 It was shaking when L1 was doing ring of fire 1st half (if you stood still) Then it about collapsedfor their goals, and their bouncy thing. Not surprised it isn't fit to host concerts and to me its a miracle that we have so many fans persistantly standing every week in L1/K1 and there were certainly more than usual in E1/F1 yesterday. Good to see. Given the state of the ground I wouldn't be surprised if there was a big crack down on standing next season.
Guest Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Aren't you pretty skinny? Opinion is divided- I say not.

Guest seanfox778 Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I have to say i was a little worried when the stadium was moving, i didn't know concrete could bend
Webbo Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 Makes you wonder if the stadium is still under guarantee, what with us not paying the builders.
Jack Posted 27 April 2008 Posted 27 April 2008 I've noticed this quite a few times before. Not felt it like yesterday though.
