maddog Posted 28 April 2008 Author Posted 28 April 2008 I didn't mention anything about having a low allocation, so why did you quote me? 2 matches will be shown on Sky on Sunday, and viewers will get a choice. It's likely to be Stoke vs City and Ipswich vs Hull. Looking at the Sky website it says only 1 Championship match will be shown on the Live on Sky bit in the football section. Come on BLUES! Come on West Brom!
davieG Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 If we win we could finish above one or all of the following Blackpool home to Watford even if they draw Cov away at Charlton even if they draw Sheff Weds home to Norwich even if they draw Southampton away to WBA and home to Sheff Utd they'd need two wins. So basically it is in our own hands IF we win as it would require all 4 of those teams to win the five games. So Ollie let's have none this let's rely on Southampton to lose both games the the game and you can be pretty sure we'd be safe.

Blackpool's goal difference is better than ours. Cov could win at Charlton who have been crap for weeks and sheff wed will beat Norwich easily. Our only hope is Southampton but I think they will beat Sheff utd 1-0. They may even get a result at West Brom after all we did!

No - I said IF we win Blackpool's Goal difference is -5 ours is -3 Of course Cov could win at Charlton but they could equally draw Why would Sheff Weds beat Norwich the only team they've beaten in the last 8/9 games is us. Thinking Southampton will beat Sheff Utd doesn't mean it will happen. I'm not really sure why you bothered with such a reply as I was only stating fact whereas yours is all opinion
maddog Posted 28 April 2008 Author Posted 28 April 2008 So Southampton draw. Looks like we will need at least a draw at Stoke. Southampton looked solid, i can certainly see them winning at home to United. Come on Blades!!!! AND its on SKY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So the unlucky fans without tickets because of the stupid club not demanding a higher allocation can see the game. It's going to be the slowest 6 days of my life leading up to that match.

WBA are a better team than Stoke.... and Saints managed to get a point out of them. And above all, what makes people be sure that Saints are gonna beat United but we will certainly lose to Stoke? Sheffield United are one of the form teams at the moment (3rd) and Stoke are 12th while we are 13th.
Bert Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I am not in the mood to have any banter before this game. It's do or die. Yes or No.

maddog Posted 29 April 2008 Author Posted 29 April 2008 Theres going to be so much atmosphere even for the people not going to the game. What a joke of a season, how the fook have we ended up possibly needing to win our final game at Stoke to survive

Corky Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 cant wait till full time when delilah is ringing around the brittania Why why why?
Craig Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 How amazing would it be for Cov to go down, seriously. Covlad's being incredibly cocky considering how unpredictable this league is, especially with Southampton and Wednesday having winnable games. All it takes then is a lucky win at the Brit for us, and a probable loss a Charlton.

How wrong was I?

poynton blue Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 It'll be just our luck that the 4 results will go against us. Leic to draw Saints to draw thats what im betting and it will happen that 87 min goal from West Brom has saved Leic
Cunning Plan Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 Blackadder: Ha ! I laugh at danger and drop ice cubes down the vest of fear!
rayray Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 OK I will admit to being a Cov Fan, but........be honest. If leicester go down, they get what they deserve. The last two home games were against Colchester and Sheffield Wednesday. And you failed to win either of them. Carry on telling everybody that you are a big club as you always do and maybe people won't forget about you too much while you are in League One (Division Three) You will probably be there for a few years as well. I really can't see you staying up this season. I will miss playing you as to be honest, the leicester game is the only one I get excited about. Never mind though - look on the bright side. Cheaper tickets, new grounds to visit, the excitement of drawing a decent Championship side like us in one of the cups, easier teams to play against so you may even win two games in a row!!! See! It's gonna be GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for those of you who noticed that I did not use a capital letter at the start of leicester, I did not feel the word was significant enough to deserve one. As I mentioned at the start of my post, you get what you deserve. CCFC

rayray Posted 29 April 2008 Posted 29 April 2008 I have just noticed that where some of you have players names as a signature I actually have the words Coventry Twat. I didn't do that myself so clearly it was the moderators on this board. Normally one would expect to just have one's post deleted but oh no......not on here. You seem to have a sense of humour. Well, far from being offended, I think that is effin brilliant! I still am hoping leicester go down obviously but I do appreciate that touch of black humour. And I know you don't really mean it guys. We are your Midlands cousins after all. Just a bit better than you, that's all. Yeovil and Milton Keynes Dons await you.... CCFC
