dowie is a great man manager with a good knowledge of the game whilst holloway is a shrewd man with good crack! 1 of these will have leicester back up there before long and playing good football!

If you think these two cant hack it then i think steve howey should take over! great manager who knows wht he is talking about and will have then playing good football!

Steve Howey?

Erm, no mate.

The irony of your situation is amusing from our point of view- 'Tranmere on a Friday night' kind of backfired.

Anyway, see you next season in this god awful league.

Not fancy your play off chances then?

Yep, I wouldn't begrudge you giving us stick after what happened to you lot last season!

I think you'll go up to be honest, you've done well with that point deduction to be fair.

Jesus how the let's all laugh at Leeds threads and laughing at the Trees have come back and snapped our bollocks off. Surely on the forest forum there's a Let's all laugh at Fester' thread :(

Of course it's shit.

It's horrible but let's try a bit of perspective.

I passed an accident today where somebody had been killed.

My day wasn't that bad in comparison.

yes steve howey if they cant get any1 else but they must stck with holloway or get dowie in!!

Yes, Steve Howey the perfect candidate.

Expereince: none.

Passion for the club: none.

Defensive knowledge: none.

Attackive knowledge: none.

Salary demands: High, probably.

Yep, exactly! At the end of the day, it is only football.

I'll leave it that. Now you know what getting relegated to one of your lowest points ever feels like, I'm sure you'll be less hasty to take the piss next time.

The problem for us is that form goes out of the window in the play-offs. Anything can happen-literally.

I've accepted it now, we deserved to go down i just hope this time next year we've been good enough to bounce straight back like 02/03.

I'm still sitting here numb, not knowing exactly what to say. I don't post here often, I mostly come in and read what everybody else has to say, but if I didn't come on tonight and have my say I may as well just not bother period.

My daughter Lauren and I sat through the entirety of this rubbish, cheered at some Henderson heroics, tried to will McAuleys header in, but come the 80th minute, a full 20 minutes after Ollie should've been making changes, we were willing Stoke to score and put us out of our f***ing misery. S'oton a man down and 3-2 up against Sheff U and Holloway starts making changes with 5 minutes to go!

I was actually quite optimistic going into this game. We seem to pull out results on big occasions. 4-1 West Brom, narrowly beaten by Chelski... I should've known better. Sad thing is (or maybe not so sad) i'm not sick of this crap. I've no doubt that we'll be subjected to yet more dross next season (even more so if Ollie keeps his job) but i'm City through and through, and even at 11, so is Lauren. We shed a few at the final whistle, looked despairingly at the table, then ate. We deserved it, we knew what we had to do and we should have known Ollie would play out for a draw and hope that Sheff U would do us a favour.

The saddest part of the whole afternoon was the TV constantly going back to the City faithful, and watching them switch from elation to despair. Ollie should be forced to watch those replays (looped, forever) and suffer as much as he's made US suffer.

Anyway, it's done, it's over. It hurts like hell, and it's gonna be a long 3 months for all of us, but I still love this club, and it's fans. I don't get up as much as i'd like to (financial restrictions, sadly) but i'm still Leicester through and through.

Finally, kudos to the fans who came on here giving us all their best wishes. I'm sure I speak for us all when I say how much it's appreciated, and how we'd do the same thing if the situation was reversed.

:scarf: Leicester Forever! :scarf:

I know it's no consolation, but I'm deeply sorry that you've gone down.

One of my finest days as a Blade was 18 years ago today (just), when we won at Filbert Street to finally get back to the top flight (the first time in my life of watching United), and Day Before Thursday were relegated on the same day. From being a young kid in our Division 3/4 days in the early 80's, I'd always had a soft spot for you lot, as you yo-yoed, and I retain it now.

I wish you all the best for next season, and a swift return.

Sorry we didn't help you out at Southampton.

It only took him five months..

At least no other big club will dare take him on after this.

If ANY club touches him after this i'll be surprised. He should do a Meggers and disappear for at least 18 months.

to see young fans on tv was heartbreaking... especially as see myself in them.

couldn't say anything but F**king disgraceful and thats all can think to say to sum everything up.

my plan:

sack holloway, get rid of the cack players.... get walsh in with some love for the club, lets see what passion can do now forget experience! we tried that

if mandab*tch is still ere next year give walshy the money then we can get passion, get players that want to play not dirty mercenaries.

;( could work :P

I was upset - and I thought I could have dealt with it better.

I set myself up to see us relegated, and I have made light-hearted jibes about our situation in recent weeks.

When that final whistle went today, the realisation kicked in that we were down, I couldn't control myself.

I never expected myself to shed any tears - however, I'd been drinking as much beer possible on an empty stomach throughout the game. It just happened.

I've got no shame about what I did. This club means a lot to me and the very existence of the club is under threat.

People may say "new grounds, chance to rebuild" - it's not as easy as that.

I don't know what's going to happen. I'm drunk and I'm pissed off.

I may be more coherent at a later time, but nothing can stop me and many other Leicester fans feeling like shit right now.
