Tommeh Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Real feeling of emptiness, keep seeing all the stoke fans running onto the pitch, thats when it hit me. Off up town now to try and cheer up. once a blue always a blue!
pafcfan10 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 After reading this thread I genuinely feel sorry for you. I hope you don't have a hatred and a grudge against us Argyle fans and the ones that gloat to you are just the minority of twats we have. I only have a problem with Ollie, and he will be nothing to do with you soon, and hopefully managing Crawley Town. Hope you get back soon, good luck!
lew Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA we get murdered 4-1 and you cant even stay up, "Holloway what you gone and done, youve sent the shit down to league 1" HA HA HA. Even forest will be in the championship next year Bright Side: We dont have to come see the inbreads anymore no more trips to the crisp bowl wont have to see that fat guy with the drum for at least a year and more than likely holloway will go and you will get dowie
RedOnRed Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Believe me, there's something even worst then being relegated and that's not having a local team at all. Hang on in there and remain positive. It's might sound easy to say but close the book on this chapter and get behind the team again. You'll always be a Fox so it's really your only choice anyway.
KC Tigress Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 So sorry you didn't get the win you needed today, and reading your messages I understand why. Yes we in Hull needed you to win today too, but hey, we didn't come up to scratch either. Thought you did brilliant holding Stoke back from scoring though Take stock, get your club sorted, and I'm sure you'll be back up 09/10 All the best lads

Mate you're probably the best opposition supporter on this forum. Of course League One is better than nothing, will be interesting to go Milton Keynes away next year...
purpleronnie Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Have to say I feel I have it easy, 1000's of miles away, going regually to see another team play. I wont have the piss taken out of me by work colleagues, I wont hear it on the news, it wont be in the papers. For all of those who will and pay small fortunes following Leicester home & away I feel for you. Hopefully this time next year we can reminisce about the season past and think that wasn't too bad in fact it was quite fun but we're glad were back in the championship. Chin up!
Staf Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Absoloutely gutted never thought this would happen this is going to be the longest summer ever i wish i could just forget about football for a few months but i cant absolutely gutted .

Exactly, I hope that our trip to League 1 is brief and enjoyable, and in a few years time we can remember League 1 with affection, as it started our recovery.
reynard Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Truth is hard to take but we have not been good enough for several seasons now. There is something rotten at the core of our club. How can our youth team be so good yet so few seem to be able to make it to the next level? How can reasonable players turn out to be so bad after 1 decent game for us? The questions are endless really. We were really relegated in 94 but stayed up only because the leagues were being restructured so only 2 clubs went down. Today our luck ran out. But for all those saying they won't go next season I say think again. It is in times of trouble and strife that real friends stick together. My son and I have already decided we shall return next season whatever. Our club need us now almost more than ever. Let's try to fill our ground, let's take our fabulous away support and pack evey away end next season. Let's show the players we have belief and pride in the shirt, the badge and the club. Today is an ingloriouos one in our history but it is over and tomorrow a new dawn will pass let's help to make it one we can be proud of.
Chrysalis Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We deserve it. The first 75-80mins of game I was thinking the players dont want it, standing back defending deep etc. Then holloway realises we need to win and suddenly we have chances to score. So I am thinking why wasnt we playing like this for a win from kickoff because if we were we probably wouldnt have been relegated, stoke were not fully up for the game. Hayles looked very out of place where he started and by the fryatt substitution he was completely out of it. Hume was the only player who looked like he had any quality and the only other player that stood out for me was stearman. But I bet these 2 will be gone in the summer.
Bomber Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Hello people, Argyle fan here and I come in peace. Condolences to the Leicester Faithful on the relegation, it's always the fans that suffer. Been reading through pasoti this morning and the general consensus there is that, as fans, we feel it for you, having been there, done that many, many times in the past. Where we share a common bond is in the despising of that short, bandy-legged, bald little sh*t, Hollowturd. I sincerely hope, for your sakes, that first thing on Monday morning, he is rewarded for his efforts with a P45. Of course, he will blame everthing and everyone else for your demise, it will never be his fault, it never is! What's the betting that he blames your relegation on previous managers and the standard of players that they bought in? Anyway, as I said I come in peace and wish you good luck in Div. 1 next year.
Dr The Singh Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We deserve it.The first 75-80mins of game I was thinking the players dont want it, standing back defending deep etc. Then holloway realises we need to win and suddenly we have chances to score. Absolutely, the leaugue does not lie, were third shittest and are relegated!!! Holloway sent his team out today to defend and not lose, there was no fight for the victory only untill southampton were winning, by that time it was all to late............................'fortune favours the brave'......only if holloway had believed that, what a coward!!!
davieG Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 There was no attempt to win that game. A rookie CB in midfield, when he could have used King for his height and attacks on goal or Weso for his tenacity, from what I could see on the TV Worley was hardly in the game. Fryatt - did he even touch the ball? Too little too late yet again. As for poor Ashey Chambers why on earth bother to put him on so late and then have him suffer the ignominy of being part of the team that saw us relegated - I bet he fooking loves Holloway. A capitulation from the KO a disgraceful team selection and even more distasteful tactics. It's was bad enough being relegated but to give up our status so easily shame on you Holloway. I'm not angry that we are being relegated that has been on the cards for months I'm angry that we had so many chances to avoid it and we failed because our manager was a coward who preferred to hope that a draw wpuld be enough!!!!
Joe. Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I still can't believe this. It really does pain me to hear and see "Leicester have been relegated". It's tough to take.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I have been trying to think of something to write in here for 4 hours or so now i still cant put it into words.
lildave3 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I keep changing through the moods, one minute i'm there gutted and devastated that we're down and in the third tier. The next i'm looking forward to some new grounds to go to, and the fact we should win more games than i'm used to! Mostly gutted though.
MC Prussian Posted 4 May 2008 Author Posted 4 May 2008 I seriously hope Ian Holloway will never ever coach a team at competitive level again.
RedOnRed Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 It's the first time that i've watched Leicester this season and I thought they played very well - particularly in the second half. They were equal to stoke in every way and the result reflected that. You certainly wouldn't have known that it was a top versus bottom sort of game. When the Dons have played other teams near the top we've typically drawn. OK you needed a win but it looked like they gave their all today to me.
lildave3 Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Also, it could be worse I suppose, at least we're not Wrexham fans.
Fox You Forest Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Also, it could be worse I suppose, at least we're not Wrexham fans. Yep and Mansfield is only down the road.
RedOnRed Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Also, it could be worse I suppose, at least we're not Wrexham fans. Well they beat us when we played them at their place this season!
Linekars Love Child Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 not holloways fault. Manadaric has had 3 managers at the club in 1 season and you dont get anything for two many managers in 1 season. Holloway is a good manager and given some time he will sort the humdinga of a mess out!!!!!! IN HOLLOWAY WE WILL REBUILD!!!!!!
