Well, what can I say?

I waited after I got back off the coach untill my mum came to pick me up from the ground, during this time the Leicester City team coach pulled up. Players were getting, getting clapped by some fans who had waited behind... Then Holloway got off crying just put his hand up to acknowledge the crowd hung his head then walked off.

Still hasnt sunken in yet that we've been relegated. We shall return.

Leicester Till I Die.

I keep changing through the moods, one minute i'm there gutted and devastated that we're down and in the third tier. The next i'm looking forward to some new grounds to go to, and the fact we should win more games than i'm used to!

Mostly gutted though.

I'm sure given time I'll be able to see something positive in this... maybe even something to look forward to. But right now, however much I try to distract myself, I can't stop thinking about LCFC being in the third tier and I well up. I even expected us to go down, so you think I'd be prepared for this, but no. :( Based on this season's performance, citeh didn't deserve to stay up and I do think the 'big club' mentality has, in part, led to the club's downfall, but it's the fans who show their loyalty to the club who I feel sorry for - they certainly didn't deserve this. Right now I just feel the need to mourn what this club has become.

not holloways fault. Manadaric has had 3 managers at the club in 1 season and you dont get anything for two many managers in 1 season. Holloway is a good manager and given some time he will sort the humdinga of a mess out!!!!!!

IN HOLLOWAY WE WILL REBUILD!!!!!!

I think you're spot on there.

All the business you've had this season with managers was bound to be unsettling and damaging for the team. I don't think any club could go through what you've done this season and come out of it unscathed.

Pay no attention on another thread he says Dowie is the man.

some fool coming on here and saying holloway shud die needs to get a life like i said already in holloway we will rebuild or in dowie we trust, so i think these will both do a good job in league 1!

IN HOLLOWAY WE REBUILD!!

I'm absolutely devastated. It will take me quite a while to come to terms with this.

Heart broken. :(

Karim, you're not allowed, you have to get over it now, if you listen to some "fans" on this forum. No way should you be devastated.

I am truly gutted, I had anticipated it, but it still hit me so hard :(

Was awful today...was in a pub in bristol and after the stoke fans ran on the pitch just before the end the landlord thought it was over so switched over to the liverpool game, took him 5 minutes to switch back and by then the match had ended, was a horrible feeling stading alone in a pub with liverpool fans trying to console me that "they knew how i felt as they'd been knocked out of the champions league semi-final a few days before"...bunch of idiots didnt even care or have a clue. still feel in shock, but i'll still be back for more next season! League 1 promotion campaign here we come!!! (hopefully! )

We've had five years of battling with relegation, and this is the second time we've lost that battle.

I firmly believe this will be the low point. We will recover. My hope for next season is that the Club reconnects with its fan base. That we see no more 'we need your support' insult pieces on the OS. That whoever crosses the line gives there all for our Club. That we commit to playing entertaining football. That we use the talented young players at our Club with a backbone of 3/4 four more experienced players.

I for one am fed up with the dross we've been served up with for the last four years. I'm fed up of being insulted by pathetic communications from the Club.

I will remain a passionate Leicester City supporter, and our proud Club will return better and stronger. Wherever you are around the world don't feel ashamed. Be proud that you remain loyal to a Club that has done little to deserve your loyalty for years. Rise above the insults and jibes we'll get from so-called supporters of other Clubs. Real fans don't take the p@ss out of fellow football fans. They respect their pain and thank god it hasn't happened to them.

We love you Leicester, we do, we love you Leicester, we do, we love you Leicester we do, oh Leicester we love you.

I remain proud to be a Leicester supporter, and always will be. We are real football fans. Remember that always

Yeah thats exactly the same as being relegated to league 1! Idiots!

It also makes me laugh how people/fans go on about Avram Grant getting the boot at Chelsea. Because being 2nd in the Premiership and finalists in the Champions league is a big disappointment!

They dont know they are born. If only they knew!

Absolutely devastated. I was pretty much inconsolable at the final whistle and cried a fair bit. Cut my hand open as well. Still not over it now. I'm actually not able to come to terms with it right now. I don't think the persistance with drinking is doing my any favours either. Gutted beyond belief; really struggling to find the words to express how I feel properly. I haven't even had people ringing me to take the piss, they understand how this is going to hit me.

I feel sorry for Katy though, she was worse than I was at the final whistle bless her. I'd like to say thanks to Cobbo and Scoweh though for trying to cheer me up at the end, but also for stopping the random bloke from beating me up in the pub. Thanks very much.

It's a bitter pill to swallow, and I'm feeling it just as much as the rest of you, but we'll be back. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself to prevent myself slipping into the depths of depression this evening.

Oh, and for those who think I'm pathetic, sad, mentally weak or need to get a life because I cried, I can only tell you in the most sincere way possible to fuck right off. It's my way of dealing with it, and it's helping me to try to come to terms with it all. I guess I just must care more than you and that's why it's affecting me in this way? I don't know. 124 odd years of history ruined in 1 season by a bunch of overpaid mercenaries with no care for anything but themselves and their pay packets. Thanks a fucking bunch you complete bunch of bastards.

I will always be proud to support my club. This club is unique, and I will take the jibes and funny comments with a pinch of salt. Leicester City may be at its lowest point, but it will recover, and be better for it, and I will be there every step of the way :scarf:

jme, don't listen to people who have a go at you for crying. You deal with relegation in any way you want mate. It doesn't make you any less passionate, or weak. The weak people are the ones who will jump ship now to support another club. You ain't weak, you ain't any less of a fan.

To be honest, it's heartbreaking. Watching the capitulation against Sheffield Wednesday, I knew we'd fooked it up. So many times we've chucked points and so many times it's been in our own hands. We always said that from Scunny, Colchester and Sheff Wed at home we needed 9 points. We got 4. That just shows how we only have ourselves to blame.

We do have fantastic supporters, well the majority at least. We had decent prestige and a proud history, totally bollocked up by this season. Posters who think they can judge how strong someone loves the club because of whether they cried or not, then it's not right. Anyone who thinks it's wrong to cry is obviously too 'macho' for their own good.

In regards to the 'civil war' breaking out in the thread that got closed, what the fook was that all about lads? The players had no unity all season, but as fans we stayed strong together. Let's not lose that now, it's none of our faults we're in League One next season, it's the fault of the players, manager and chairman.

We should be proud of our unfailing support this season, the players don't deserve fans like us.

Agree with all of that, especially the bit in bold unfortunately. It almost makes it worse to be honest.

dowie is a great man manager with a good knowledge of the game whilst holloway is a shrewd man with good crack! 1 of these will have leicester back up there before long and playing good football!

If you think these two cant hack it then i think steve howey should take over! great manager who knows wht he is talking about and will have then playing good football!
