You think Coppell will fancy a new challenge to build a club, reported he is going to resign today?

Dont be silly!

Heard jean tigana gas always wanted to manage a team in league One though!!!!

Coppell might well be an excellent option. A man of integrity, experience, demonstrated ability at Championship level and with a vast knowledge of players and what is required to win football matches.

There was no shortage of goals from Reading when they went up into the Premiership.

At the very least our club might get some respect back.

If Coppell were interested I could well imagine him being the best alternative.

But will Milan be listening?

I think he would be a perfect choice, also had the record of finding some good lower league players such as Dave Kitson.

Just whether he would want the job or not i guess.

I don't think anyone can argue with that. Holloway messed it up. Simple as that. However, I think that stability may be what this club needs now.

Stability, there's nothing stable about taking us down a division, what stability is it that Holloway has provided?

It's difficult to make a full assessment of Holloway without having a full season to preside over.

The January transfer window is not the ideal time to rebuild a side struggling against relegation - yes, he had money, but it's not as simple as that.

Holloway has made mistakes, tactics or signings, but this club has been a mess for a while. You can't expect a quick fix in a matter of couple of months when the existing players and club have been subjected to failure for a good time.

I think it might have been Ultra who mentioned that the likes of Coyne (Burnley) and Irvine (Preston) were able to lead their sides to better things (well, the latter anyway) but those sides have not been involved in five season's worth of relegation battles.

Holloway is the manager, so inevitably he has to take responsibility to an extent - but it's not as clear cut as some make out.

But he didn't have to rebuild a side in January just improve on our then current position, with the money he spent and the players he chose to sign moving us up a place or two should, even from his own mouth have been simple and easy to achieve - he failed to do that and the result is, from a business perspective alone catastrophic.

Agree.

How about banning the word 'STABLILITY'

Steve Copell - you lot are having a laugh right?

We are the joke club :P:whistle:

A trend which will no doubt continue next season.

Which village club will knock us out of next season's FA Cup?

And which imbecile will be first on here to welcome that result and say we can concentrate on the league?:angry::angry::angry::angry:

The same that thought Taylor should stay after Wycombe and think Holloway should stay now.

I can't help thinking that people are adding 2 and 2 together and jumping to conclusions based upon Ian Holloway's words. Mr. Mandaric has said nothing yet. There could be more to come in this story yet.

I'd like to think so.

But the chairman's track record does not inspire confidence.

Get over it Ultra. You've never any solution to the problem, you just add to it. You'll be proved wrong.

Yeah, just like I was with Mandaric...lol

Enjoy having a block to yourself next season..

I am (frankly) amazed to discover that you are now that fat.

Anyway, Holloway out! Enough is enough Mandaric - back him or sack him, stop fucking about.

Fairly convincing 71% out.

I do try to see the little bit of good in the man, but at the moment I can't stand him.

If he was moved away coaching the first team ( I know it rarely works but a 'general' manager) and bought in a credable coach I may just be able to accept him.

To his credit most of what he's done and said including signing have been mostly good, its just that he is clueless when it comes to the mjan managment and playing side

He doesn't deserve to be a turnstile attendant never mind anything else.
