truecityfaneric Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Can someone ring The Wurzels and ask them to translate? Oh I'm sorry didn't realise you could use a phone!
Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Oh I'm sorry didn't realise you could use a phone! Ever considered a career in comedy?
truecityfaneric Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Oh I'm sorry didn't realise you could use a phone! I can remember playing you lot at the old place - always enjoyed it.
wurmer Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Just stating a fact - it hurts doesn't it!Why not move to Bristol - Clifton is great but I doubt you could afford it! Is that it? Your be answer? Oh dear - and I wasn't being racist - If you could see me you would know why. Don't care if you're brown, black, purple, yellow or red - it's still racist - but I don't expect you to understand.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Bad Support! You had a good enough team to stay up this season - easily! But the general arrogance of the club and its supporters has had a negative effect on the players. Next season you will find it hard in division 1 as it's a much more difficult league to get out of than you think. Ask Forest, Sheff Weds, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff etc... Now as a club you need to show solidarity and encouragement but I doubt you will. Arrogance is a terrible thing you need to shake it off quick or you will be picked off easily in league 1. I'm writing this as I care about your club. Always looked up the scores when stationed abroad and now. Oh by the way some of your fans on here have been slagging off the Bristol Clubs and their support. Both clubs have immense support and are building new stadiums. Next season you'll be trying to win the 'Johnstones Paint Trophy', I wonder if you will take to Wembley as many as Bristol City and Stoke have taken there. The yokels that have been referred to on this site have also been instrumental in building Concorde and of course the new A380 doubledecker long haul jet. Just about all the engines used on air transport systems are in fact made by Rolls Royce - Bristol again. I could go on the list is endless. Just please remind me what Leicester contributes to all of us besides Pork Pies? And very badly supported Footies teams. Oh and Diwali of course mustn't forget the 'leading citizens' of your town. That truly is an insult, we may not be the greatest ever club but our fans are fantastic. We had an average attendance of 23,500 this season, Stoke had 16,500 So yes of course we F**king will
Arkie Bennett Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Oh dear - and I wasn't being racist - If you could see me you would know why. And you have the gall to accuse us of arrogance!
David Guiza Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Not buying a decent goal scorer or a creative midfielder + Not beating the likes or not even geting a point of the likes of Colchester , Sheff Wed , Sheff Utd under Robson , Bristol City how bad can finishing be ? ect
Daggers Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I could go on the list is endless. Just please remind me what Leicester contributes to all of us besides Pork Pies? And very badly supported Footies teams. Oh and Diwali of course mustn't forget the 'leading citizens' of your town. Priceless. Thank you for taking the time out from playing hide the soldier with the big-ear'd boy in the barn to write this, it fair made my evening. Don't go holding your gun the wrong way around now while you're off on duty, I've a sneaky feeling you have problems with simple motor tasks. Now trot along - I pay good tax money to in order that you may die in my name, defending my right to not be a racist ****.
Smiffy Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I blame it on Tops Tiles! Such a shit sponsor was destined to send us down!
brookfox Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I blame poor signings down the wings. IH got in Bori, Zsolt, that kid from Man City, Bell (albeit late), Hendrie (who had to play inside due to injuries) and none of them provided the ammunition our strikers, in particular Howard, needs to score goals. Then due to him being his big striker signing, Ollie had to keep playing Howard to save face, even though he was playing in a team with tactics that don't play to his strengths. Admitedly the rest of his play was garbage, but if we'd put more crosses in he'd have scored. If Bori and Zsolt played like they did against Cov we'd have stayed up. Why they failed to settle and maintain that form is anyone's guess.

It isn't rocket science to work out what the reason for that might be.

Ultra Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Your charm has not deserted you.. I'm really distraught we won't have a chance to visit Kent on our League 1 travels..
The People's Hero Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Your charm has not deserted you..I'm really distraught we won't have a chance to visit Kent on our League 1 travels.. I'm extremely pleased the Gills went down. Just a shame it's not an easy away game next year to get to.
Guest Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I forgot to wear my lucky pants on sunday, that's why we went down
Dr The Singh Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Something to do with astrology. Feng Shwai, the position of the away support and core supporters was all wrong, the negative energy from away fans was not succombed from the home fans!!!
Darkzzz_ Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I blame the injury time strike from darren carter.... that was the relegation game!!!
The People's Hero Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 a) The Kop is in the wrong place. b) Jason Koumas never signed on loan.
