hairy Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 It was those two mystic meg types in the Mercury a couple of weeks ago that cost us! The roof blowing off the hotel next door and the gypos that moved into the car park. Put a curse on the ground, they did! and a poor squad and dubious managers.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 a) The Kop is in the wrong place.b) Jason Koumas never signed on loan.
lefox Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 matt piper, brian little, mark mcghee, peter taylor, ade akinibiyi, ian ormondroyd, junior lewis, david pleat, the shipmans, bentleys roof, frank mclintock, paul dickov, larry grayson, ian holloway, steve howard, barry hayles, matt fryatt, all the 21 teams above us, mark lawrenson, craig levien, rob kelly, milan mandaric, in fact all the c***s who didn't deserve to wear the sacred shirt over the last (at least) 4 years. just when you think you're getting over things, you then go work, and you work in n*****ham, and they're all f****t fans. then the electrician comes in and he's a sheep sh4gger, and finally your best client is a villa b4st4rd and begins to rub your nose in it. Then the final insult, which is why I am posting this and going home. Your marketing director rings up to confirm he was at the game and was so pleased to see stoke go up. I'm having a bad day so it's everyones f***ing fault. See you all at Cheltenham, woo - f**king hoo.
The People's Hero Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I think it comes down to the fact that we never did get to the bottom of what a rolling contract is....??
Dr The Singh Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I think it comes down to the fact that we never did get to the bottom of what a rolling contract is....?? We've never got over the 'la manga' incident, the fact that those women didn't get a shag has left the club impotent and useless, the only cure I see is a trip to hedonism camp!!!!
Thracian Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 The simplest reason was messing about by the corner flag against Charlton and squandering two vital points unnecessarily. But other reasons abound and could make up a book.
clazkel Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Ollies tactics and poor/lack of substitutions at pivitol points in many games Playing Howard up front all the time when Hume plays best when he is upfront with another creative player such as Fryatt, Hayles or DJ
Father Ted Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 TBH right now, we can make as many excuses as we want but we won't take back time!
Corky Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 The pitch being awful The wind too strong No Elvis Hammond Jon Barber Birch cutting the corners on his charity run
lildave3 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 The pitch being awfulThe wind too strong No Elvis Hammond Jon Barber Birch cutting the corners on his charity run The cones seem to go further in every year! G'won the Birch
Corky Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 The cones seem to go further in every year!G'won the Birch It's absolutely infuriating though. They say he runs 50 laps AROUND the pitch, well it's blatantly obvious he doesn't If the club can get that sorted, we may have a chance of promotion. All the running ON the pitch ruins it for the last home match.

Corky Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Give him a break he's 137 next year, bless him he looked knackered after 3 laps. Still quicker than Steve Howard though. It might be a bit cruel, but wouldn't it be funny if he tripped over a net or something, just to see if he would get up again?
Bert Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 The legit goals we had wrongly disallowed. Two incorrect sending offs which lead to penalty's that weren't, both away from home.
Master Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 Do you know the biggest reason for why we were relegated? Getting sponsored by Topps Tiles and having a Jako kit. Yes, the moment we all saw the announcement and witnessed the unveiling of the new kit, all our hopes of gaining promotion went out the window. I'm sorry, but having a sponsor like Topps Tiles in the premier league is just far too gypo. We've got to lose this acceptance of gyponess to move forward in the future. It's true and an issue needs to be looked at quite seriously.
Master Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 We werent good enough? We could have been good enough. All the hype and build up that surrounded the coming season, everything was moving forward, and we all felt a new sense of optimism for the forthcoming promotion campaign. All the transfers, the money we had, everything felt good. But on that fatal day of the press conference when the new kit was shown, everything turned negative. How could a footballing force be taken seriously in ridiculous shabby tacky piece of crap like that?

My brother said the same thing, Topps Tiles with that crappy logo of there's should be for the conference not for a league club!!!
Master Fox Posted 7 May 2008 Posted 7 May 2008 My brother said the same thing, Topps Tiles with that crappy logo of there's should be for the conference not for a league club!!! I've heard loads of people say exactly the same thing (Non city fans) People say, how the fcuk could you be sponsored by 'Topps Tiles?' I mean, Sunday league teams put more effort into their kits. I'd actually be embarrassed if that were my six-a-side team's kit. If anyone can say 'I wear my Topps Tiles kit with pride' is lying. First thing Mandaric needs to do is change the fcuking god damn kit!! I hate it more than I hate Matty Fryatt, Bruno N'gotty, and Steven Howard.
