Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I blame Basingstokefox. Let's face it... Foxes lose all season and he changes his name to Basingstokeblade(etc) Coincidence? *If I don't laugh I'll start crying *
FleckneyFox Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 incompetant strikers not finishing off games we shouldve won. Our attack is infertile, The strikers get shit service and when they do occasionaly get good service they mess up.
demon_dog Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Surprise, surprise!! Holloway blames the players. http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1305615,00.html

josh_baskin Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I think the home game we lost to Preston was the make or break game for both clubs.
Arkie Bennett Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 We have too many players who are out of their depth, even at the new low to which we have just descended. Too many think they have made it because they are playing in front of 20K+ in a good stadium. They attempt ludicrous fancy touches that they lack the ability to pull off, yet they cannot do the basics. As a team, they cannot play cohesive football if the pace of the game is any faster than pedestrian, we simply can't string passes together and we resort to aimless long balls that we have no chance of winning. Holloway seems to have little tactical ability. He doesn't seem able to inspire or motivate players. Sure, we have been unlucky on occasions, but no more than any other team, yet Holloway dwelled far too much on our bad luck when it was plain to see that he and the players were not good enough. As a club we really have been unlucky - unlucky to have an inept group of players and a manager who could not do anything to improve things.
saint lard Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 The reason is straight forward.....great display by Saints against the "mighty"Blades.

Basingstoke Fox Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 I blame Basingstokefox.Let's face it... Foxes lose all season and he changes his name to Basingstokeblade(etc) Coincidence? *If I don't laugh I'll start crying * Well my first game supporting leicester we fooked up a 3-0 lead and lost 4-3. We got relegated that season. Weve gone downhill ever since. Ive been to 9 games this season weve drawn 1 lost 8 and before Blackpool at home I laughed at footymads prediction that blackpool would beat us and they did. Oh and i jinxed us against Charlton Fook. Its not Ollie. Its not the players. Its not Steve Howard. Its not that FU CKING POST at Stoke................Its me

But the general arrogance of the club and its supporters has had a negative effect on the players. Next season you will find it hard in division 1 as it's a much more difficult league to get out of than you think. Ask Forest, Sheff Weds, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff etc... Now as a club you need to show solidarity and encouragement but I doubt you will. Arrogance is a terrible thing you need to shake it off quick or you will be picked off easily in league 1. I'm writing this as I care about your club. Always looked up the scores when stationed abroad and now. Oh by the way some of your fans on here have been slagging off the Bristol Clubs and their support. Both clubs have immense support and are building new stadiums. Next season you'll be trying to win the 'Johnstones Paint Trophy', I wonder if you will take to Wembley as many as Bristol City and Stoke have taken there. The yokels that have been referred to on this site have also been instrumental in building Concorde and of course the new A380 doubledecker long haul jet. Just about all the engines used on air transport systems are in fact made by Rolls Royce - Bristol again. I could go on the list is endless. Just please remind me what Leicester contributes to all of us besides Pork Pies? And very badly supported Footies teams. Oh and Diwali of course mustn't forget the 'leading citizens' of your town.

The answer to the question of taking fans to wembley is easy, yes we will. And it's easy to see why you get labelled as a yokel with your final comment

truecityfaneric Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Racist twat.. Just stating a fact - it hurts doesn't it! Why not move to Bristol - Clifton is great but I doubt you could afford it! Is that it? Your be answer? Oh dear - and I wasn't being racist - If you could see me you would know why.

Even if somehow got to the final, we'd fill Wembley 7 times over. 3 - And lastly, League 1 will not be easy, but we shall come back a stronger and better club hopefully.
