This is one of the fewpositives about going down. With better players than Bournemouths around him, he should be a valuable asset in League 1, finally a winger with pace, who cna beat a man, and can shoot. The only problem is David Bell.

Joe. Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I've got massive hopes for him. We've lacked a really good winger for so long and I think we may just have found him. He's done fantastic in League One this season and there's no reason he can't have a better season next time around in the same division with arguably better players around him. I just hope he does get his chance, I'm sure he will, but you never know with what's going on at the moment.

Whats wrong with David Bell? I think he's been a decent signing and will be a good player in League One.

He has impressed there for Bournemouth a lot this season and means he can cut in and shoot with his right. Has scored a few goals this season by doing that.

Nothing wrong with him, i just think he will be ahead of Gradel in the pecking order for the right wing spot and i would rather see Gradel given a chance.

I saw flashes of what he can do whilst he played a few first team matches here and there was something there. With the right pre-season I think he could prove a useful squad member.

Agreed...i'm also thinking/hoping with Ashley Chambers being on the bench yesterday he will get his opportunity next season!

Don't forget we'll have Levi Porter back as well. Levi on the left, Gradel on the right? Bell as cover? Will Hendrie be with us next season as well? I doubt it but if he is then we'll have a very nice looking midfield for next season.

Corky Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Gradel will get his chance next year, this season at Bournemouth will have done wonders for him, and he's done brilliantly there, so with players of better quality around him, he should shine even more.
