teblin Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 This is not exactly league one player but what about MacDonald that went on the loan to Hereford last season and scored about 7 goals in 6 games Not sure if he went back to West Brom or has been sold to someone else Could be messiah for our scoring problems He looked alright, though just ona side note he played for the same dutch part timers as our friend Sergio.

sham Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Gerrard Hands In Tranfer Request Anthony Gerrard anybody? It says he wants to play at a higher level but maybe he see's us as a team too big for this league? Would be a great signing in my opinion as Jack Hobbs isn't ours too keep. Maybe he could be prized to come here? Without Hobbs we really only have Tunchev, Morrison, Kisnorbo (when ready) who are actually ready to play first team football. Worley is simply not good enough. Gerrard is a goal scoring defender esp from set pieces.

Tommy G Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 Jmes Milner handed in a transfer request today, perhaps we could... They also have 'Alex Revell - Goal Machine.'Promotion candidates. Do you fancy him or something? Every post I read from you is something to do with him

Tommy G Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 6 league games left with Millwall season in the Championship, and am top of the league....4 points above 3rd. Also in the quarter finals of the FA Cup, at home to Championship Southampton.Got Wolves at home, Southampton away, Southend at home, Plymouth away, Watford away and finish at home to Leicester...hopefully can get promoted at about the 4th attempt. Lots of injuries though, rock CB Larrys Mabiala and RM Leam Finnegan the main ones. Alex Revell is firing me up to the top flight, now valued at £23.3m. Also, Wojciech Szczesny, 23 on my game, former Arsenal youth player, is the best goalkeeper I've ever had. So excited about these last games. Goal machine. Scored 45 goals in all competitions, and it's still only late march. Been in my team consistantly for the last 7 years when at Oldham, and the Millwall. At his peak now at 30, but a good captain. Got this young striker, aged 20, called Shamba Kakungulu Finished the season with Millwall, and finished as Champions Top scorer Alex Revell with 56 goals in all competitions. Also beat Southampton in the QF of the FA Cup, went on to knock Chelsea out on penos, before losing 3-1 to Derby in the final. Started planning for the Premiership season ahead by signing this Finnish talent Antti Kankkunnen from H Valkeakoski for £9m, and sold Fabian Delph to Norwich for £3.6m. Made a triple swap deal with West Brom for Stuart Nicholson, Egutu Bellamy and Tim Sparv....as well as signing Liverpool reject Ryan Babel on a free, and unattached Czech player Jan Moravék. Also signed up 17-year-old Macedonian starlet Velice Terziovski. Spurs at home first up. Alex Revell is relatively young. He's still got time to improve. Alex Revell plays for Southend now. That should cement my statement nicely NSLL
Asha Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 That should cement my statement nicely NSLL Yeah and how many of them are from the 'Football Manager' thread?
