Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Brad Jones - GK (Middlesborough) Can't say I've heard of him. What experience does he have?
J.Lisemore Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Think he was at Sheffield Wednesday about 2 seasons ago...did well apparently. Not really had a look in at Middlesbrough.
sham Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Can't say I've heard of him. What experience does he have? Australian International Goalkeeper. With the sale of Mark Schwarzer to Fulham, Middlesborough will be looking for a new number one so Brad won't even get a look in. I suppose with Paddy Kisnorbo, fellow goalkeeper Henderson and Weslowski already here, it could be a tempter? Info and Stats
SamL Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 I mean, he would come to us and not reject us... Not necessarily. He wouldn't come here if he didn't fancy playing League One football or if he recieved a better offer from another club.

David Guiza Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Brad Jones - GK (Middlesborough) Im sure it was him when we played Wednesday away and fryatt had a shot that he palmed into his own goal Obviously Fryatts powerfull shots though If we were going to get a keeper i would have Dean Brill but i dont think we will
tartanowl Posted 27 July 2008 Posted 27 July 2008 Brad Jones - GK (Middlesborough) He was very poor. Decent shot stopper but anything with height into the box he severely struggled with. The defence had absolutely no confidence in him whatsoever. Some of our (idiot) fans even threw coins at him because they were that frustrated with him.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 It's never going to happen but Claudio Bieler looked leathal when I watched the Copa Libertadores final.
Ric Flair Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Danny Welbeck Rhys Murphy Jay Simpson Theo Robinson
The People's Hero Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Old flames can't hold a Kandol to you. This will be the headline when we sign Tresor Kandol and he bashes a hattrick past a Dolly Parton select XI to be held in Crystal Palace whilst large screens show videos of the old structure engulfed in flames. Apart from in the Daily Mail where the headline will be 'Immigrant Gays Forcefeed GM Foods to Obese Children. DRUGS DRUGS DRUGS!!!!'

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 28 July 2008 Posted 28 July 2008 Danny WelbeckRhys Murphy Jay Simpson Theo Robinson Have recommended him in the past, not sure if we need anymore wingers now though. Certainly looked the business at Hereford. A loan move for Jay Simpson would give us all the firepower we need to get out of this division first time. Apparently he looked fantastic when the Arsenal played Barnet. Outshone Bentner, Walcott and the like.

Apparently he looked fantastic when the Arsenal played Barnet. Outshone Bentner, Walcott and the like. Simpson was on loan at Milwall last season and he didn't exactly set it alight, didn't score many goals I don't think but he did seem to finish the season quite well. Although he may be better now, but I personally would rather we sign a striker who has scored lots of goals recently and has confidence.
David Guiza Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Tim Krul. Because I <3 Tim Krul. Who doesnt love Tim Krul I would say another Left Mid and maybe a Forward ?
lee7 Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 michael mifsud he'd be quality in this league and he'd only cost 1.5m
Father Ted Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 michael mifsud he'd be quality in this league and he'd only cost 1.5m Get lost! He's soooooooooooooo overrated!
lee7 Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Get lost! He's soooooooooooooo overrated! Although he goes missing for long periods in some games he still scores goals.
Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Sherwijl MacDonald from WBA might, I say might, be worth a loan deal. There's something about him I like, but he needs to push on to be good enough for the Championship or higher. Quick and strong, we need a player with those two attributes.

Didn't he play for the same club as hellings?
JoeyB Posted 30 July 2008 Posted 30 July 2008 Skysports.com understands that Crewe have accepted a bid of over £2million for Nicky Maynard. An unnamed Championship club has agreed the fee with the Railwaymen and will now be hoping to push through the transfer. Maynard has been tracked by a host of teams since scoring with his first touch on his league debut for Alex in 2006. The 21-year-old has gone on to net 35 goals in just 65 games and is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects outside of the top two divisions. Ipswich manager Jim Magilton admitted he was interested in the striker earlier this month, while Bristol City have also been linked. Maynard has also attracted the attention of Premier League sides Middlesbrough, Fulham and Hull in recent times. That is who we want, if we want to get out of this league! Sell DJ cuz he is shite, bring in some money, and we'll be sorted
