SamL Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Midland mainline I meant where will you be traveling from? Those prices seem a bit steep.
Thracian Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 just been avin a chat with a good friend of mine who said mandy is selling the club and is going to get most of his money back but not all of it. partly the reason why he hasnt sacked olly as he wouldnt have recouped the payoff. At least you've tried to cheer us up! True or not, what a lovely thought.
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Midland mainline It's East Midlands Trains now.. They're doing singles to St Pancras and back from £16 for that day.

AoWW Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Just hope the sun doesn't ruin the terrace again. Huh? I'm intrigued...
Simi Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Huh? I'm intrigued... The sun was quite low so you couldn't see **** all from the terrace.
davieG Posted 27 May 2008 Author Posted 27 May 2008 The sun was quite low so you couldn't see **** all from the terrace. That's the reason most people give for going in the North Stand at the Walkers
AoWW Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 The sun was quite low so you couldn't see **** all from the terrace. Oh, I see... I had visions of the terrace melting in the heat, or summat!
Benjani Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Been to a few friendlies down the years. Celtic at home, Barca, Oxford away! Might go to one this year, don't no which one yet though.
NatJPeters Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 I take it you've never been before then? I did in April 2007, when Nigel Worthinton was in charge of you. We won 2-1, Jaidi and Super Seb Larsson getting our goals, Shaun Newton getting yours a from a free-kick. I remember Danny Cadamateri and Geoff Horsfield (LEGEND) came off the bench for you.

I don't think it was Jaidi, I think it was Bruno. And that was the match that The Kop stood all second half and sang the Great Escape. Great Atmosphere that night.

Great Atmosphere that night. It was definitely Jaidi. The atmosphere was pretty decent that night, the best for a few years that.
