Fryatt scored as many in the pre season as he did in the entire regular season
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 I've heard Capello has pencilled in the Quorn match for an England scouting mission and I'm pretty sure its not to watch any of our players!!
lavrentis Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 Fryatt scored as many in the pre season as he did in the entire regular season Haha, he got fatigued in his pre season that he didn't perform in season.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 I'm just gagging for that Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw. Anyone know when it is?
SamL Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 I'm just gagging for that Johnstone's Paint Trophy draw. Anyone know when it is? It was the 11th August last season so I'm guessing some time around there.

syston_fox Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Here's the rules for ithttp://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk...94~96827,00.pdf 7.3 Each Club shall play its full available strength in all matches. The Board will from time to time issue a policy as to what constitutes ‘full available strength’. Any Club failing to meet this requirement will be required to pay a fine of up to £5,000. Didnt know that.... also some teams get byes through the first round .... and if games are level after 90 mins then they go straight to penalties
Guest Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Didnt know that.... also some teams get byes through the first round .... and if games are level after 90 mins then they go straight to penalties Good. More time in the pub after the game.
Thracian Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Fryatt scored as many in the pre season as he did in the entire regular season He also scored fairly regularly in the reserves when he played. Either he's found his level around Division One or something is desperately wrong with the set-up. A third alternative is what I believe - it is a combination of the two. Fryatt has certain faults which will find him out the higher he goes and which he will find all but impossible to rectify. It's a pity because he also has talent. It also makes the decision about him next season so tricky. If it were my decision I'd keep him. But that would simply reflect personal faith in my ability to get the best out of people. Ability which has perhaps long passed for all I know. I have no faith in Holloway. He seems to have no instinct or sensitivity where football is concerned. Possibily because. deep down, he doesn't believe in anything. Starting with his players.
iancognito Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 Here's the rules for ithttp://www.football-league.premiumtv.co.uk...94~96827,00.pdf 18.8 Season ticket holders or other Club pass holders shall not be admitted to these matches without payment. Any variation to this Rule shall be at the discretion of the Board and mutually agreed between Clubs. They won't be able to roll Paintpot Cup matches into the STs then. So, frozen prices plus up to £26 to get into the competition that makes the League Cup look prestigious. Shocking.
