act smiley Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Its pretty daft when other clubs have had proven success with offering large cuts in prices on the condition that they sell more. I don't think those in charge have quite grasped the realities of League One as opposed to Premier League.

I think there basing the prices on the hope that city will be on a successful promotion campaign and hecne will attract alot more fans\glory hunters????
Daggers Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Aldridge is a c*unt.Bring back Tim Davies. Oh, that bloke who supported City but presided over our continual decline? The one who failed to develop revenue streams? The one who oversaw the disastrous appointment of the Head of Marketing, who was responsible for the shockingly bad Foxlot folding and who had the club spending £0 on players? I don't know if Aldridge is a c*unt, I really don't - but I suspect he has a bit more business acumen to him than Davies did.

If by business acumen you mean he knows how to rinse us fans then
Sods Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Are Foxes Trust going to say anything or do anything for this matter.
BigGibbo Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Are Foxes Trust going to say anything or do anything for this matter. We should just keep airing our gripes on here & they'll probably just print it out & show Mandaric!

Yeah, that'll be why Aldridge landed his previous club with a £5million pound fine, and nearly got them kicked out of the Premier League. Yet another magnificent signing by our esteemed chairman..

Don't they somehow deserve each other! Trouble is our club's the ball they're tossing around between them. And when it comes to safe hands they hardly fill you with confidence.
Ultra Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 You wouldn't buy a used car from either of them - or the manager...
iancognito Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 You wouldn't buy a used car from either of them - or the manager... I wouldn't buy a used car from them and I wouldn't trust Holloway to drive or service it. Aldo is the new Barrie Pierpoint. "....with a packet of sweets, and a cheeky smile...."
Shrenchel Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 If by business acumen you mean he knows how to rinse us fans then Exactly. I'm sure those West Ham fans that now have to pay £850 for a season ticket are thankful for his business acumen and ability to generate income.

"....with a packet of sweets, and a cheeky smile...." Hopefully Aldridge won't start writing a column in the programme from now on, telling us how Leicester City will "rule the world" in the future

Raj Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 Great work again Foxest Trust! I should rollmy eyes now shouldnt i??/ FCUK IT!!!!
Isopen Posted 20 May 2008 Posted 20 May 2008 I renewed my ST today in a near deserted ticket office, but the lady that served me was adamant that sales were going really well. They'd already taken my money off me at that point, so I don't see why she'd lie about it. She reckoned as many sold so far as this time last year.I'm not surprised that prices are going up. Unpalatable as it is, the money's got to come from somewhere. I would have thought that the least they could do would be to include some cup fixtures in the price, which I'm crossing my fingers they may yet do Threat of job cuts = tow party line
