Jay Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 well I for one am looking forward to this it's really fresh and exciting and back to the old school!! I am hoping for a good match I am sure both sets of fans will show these glory hunting fans at manure and chelski how to put on a real show in a cup final!! and it's great to see that both teams have gone back to the glorious tradition of releasing FA Cup songs!!! it's like the good old days again!!! 2-1 to Pompey
SamL Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 I'm actually looking forward to watching it for once. I don't usually watch it, it's boring most years. It's nice that there are two different teams competing for once. To be honest, I can't see Cardiff causing an upset but I don't think it'll be easy for Portsmouth. I'm going for 2-0 Portsmouth.
Benji Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 2 hours 15 minutes pre-match build up on bbc what a waste of time that is
Webbo Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Not a big fan of either club and I think the Harry Redknapp is extremely iffy, but it has to be said that Pompey do play attractive football and Cardiff aren't anything special. A handsome win for Pompey.
Finchy Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Cardiff have had such an easy run in compared to Pompey, well compared to anyone really, so yeah Portsmouth SHOULD demolish them
Brainy Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Cardiff have had such an easy run in compared to Pompey, well compared to anyone really, so yeah Portsmouth SHOULD demolish them Neither team have had a very difficult run for their standards. Cardiff: Chasetown, Hereford, Wolves, Middlesbrough, Barnsley. Pompey: Preston, Plymouth, Ipswich, Man Utd, WBA.

To be fair they are 2 ridiculous run-ins for the major domestic cup I'm all for the two teams being in the final, it's different, unpredictable and healthy for the game. However, with exception to the win against Man Utd neither have really beaten the best have they That's one of the main reasons i wanted Barnsley in the final, after beating Liverpool and Chelsea they really did deserve it (morally speaking anyway as they didnt deserve it literally having lost in the semi's)
Matt Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Loved the Man Utd and Chelsea fans opinions "Well that's gonna be an exciting final ah?!" THIS is a final for real fans. COME ON ENGLAND
Jay Posted 17 May 2008 Author Posted 17 May 2008 Loved the Man Utd and Chelsea fans opinions "Well that's gonna be an exciting final ah?!" THIS is a final for real fans. COME ON ENGLAND Because last years Chelsea Man Utd final was exciting wasn't it..... actually it was the most boring game since errr.... 2 years before and Arsenal Man Utd

SamL Posted 17 May 2008 Posted 17 May 2008 Kanu should of buried that one. Agreed. Cardiff are holding their own at the moment which is good to see. Come on Cardiff, I always go for the underdogs.
