Quite how anyone can criticize Crouch i will never know. lol

He has a good scoring record for England and constanly gets overlooked, He gets a game a month for Liverpool if he is lucky.

After all the pissing about Liverpool have done i would stay there next season and wait for my contract to run out the leave for free next summer so they get no money.

What I expected with that game tbh, some decent passing in parts, some dull predictable shit in others, but i'm not really disapointed with the result or game itself. Some good stuff in the first half with the 3 left footers. Surely Barry has to keep his place.

Decent stuff at times, absolute shit at others. The passings were very sloppy and the ball retaining was really appalling., and some players i.e. Gerrard looked very exhausted.

I honestly do not know why Gerrard or Ferdinand travelled.

What annoys me is that people were saying "Ahh I don't think anyone would want to travel to Trinidad and Tobago", my answer to that is well you should want to play for your sodding country and I think it's a lack of passion that let us down in the Euro's.

Rather than play USA and T&T couldnt England have played one of the teams in the Euros?

Just think it'd be more of a test.

Mind you i still wouldnt have given a fcuk so who cares!!!! :D

Evidence of why England aren't at Euro 2008 this year. What a poor performance against such a poor team. How we only managed three past a team ranked 88th in the world is beyond me. Terrible.

It was basic things that we just couldn't do. How hard is it to play a simple pass to feet? We just didn't do enough of it at all. Even players like Gerrard who you'd expect to see breeze through this game had total mares and needlessly gave the ball away far too often.

I don't even think these new players in the England side gave any positive room for thought. Ashton's clearly not good enough for England yet, and although he got two goals, Defoe is very questionable too. David Bentley is a classic example of a player trying too hard to impress and it's very annoying. He tries to do something special, to be in the limelight, when all he has to do is play it simple. Ashley Young came on and looked poor too. They should try taking a look at Jagielka instead- came on and did the simple things well.

Poor yet again from England. Cappello's got some work to do.

Well it's Jagielkas job to do stuff with minimal fuss. Bentley's job is to take people on and try and work out openings. If England played neat and simple passes all over, no doubt you'd be crying out over the lack of initiative and creativity. Man for man, England are not much worse or better off than Germany, who are considered favourites for the tournament. With the exception of Klose, Germany's strikers are quite equal to the English ones. I'd go as far as to say the German midfield on paper is worse than the English one, with only Ballack standing out. So the quality is there, but I don't know why key players underperform so often for England...

oh, and why on earth did Beckham and Ashton play with long sleeves?? I'm guessing Becks was 'ordered' to hide his tattoo's or something.. ? Silly...

I understand what you're saying, but sometimes you can do too much. Bentley does try to do too much, and it doesn't always come off. Sometimes he'd be much better off to play the simple option instead of trying to go for glory.

Well, the choice to have "**** Trinidad" inked on his lower arm was a tad daft.

Don't know about Ashton but I'm certain that Beckham never plays in short sleeves. Think about it...

But no, usually he always plays in long sleeves.

I was relatively entertained at times up to about 60 minutes when I turned off. Barry played well again and I'll be shocked if he doesn't go to Liverpool now.

Ashton proved he wasn't good enough and our defence was laughable at times. I know 3 out of the 4 starters weren't playing but Glen Johnson and Wayne Bridge are woeful defensively. Our so called 'experienced' players put in a lazy show but we did enough against another poor team.

The Czech Republic in September will be a huge challenge in comparison but good preperation for Croatia.
