MikeyT Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 There are some absolutely brilliant films listed on here which are superbly acted, deirected and written and then ther are some real absolute stinkers that i cant believe people list as being their favourite films and have to wonder if they are joking. Ah well, it takes all kinds eh!
Durnerz Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 American Beauty also is a brilliant film. Shawshank redemption as well. Uncle Buck and The Great Outdoor, some of John Candys finest work
Zingari Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 watched robert de niro in "midnight run" last night ( about the 4th time) and still think its a cracking buddy/road film plenty of laughs as well
Jay Posted 30 May 2008 Posted 30 May 2008 The Naked Gun Walk the Line The Great Escape Holy Grail and A Bridge to Far which had an amazing cast of actors like Dirk Bogarde James Caan Michael Caine Sean Connery Edward Fox Elliott Gould Gene Hackman Anthony Hopkins Laurence Olivier Robert Redford Denholm Elliott if any movie studio today tried to get that many stars in a single film they would probably end up bankrupt

Ive actually never seen Holy Grail and i think The Great Escape is very Overrated!
