Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Paul Ince please!!! Purely because he has a proven track record in the Johnstonnes Paint Trophy!
RedOnRed Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 If you get Ince i'll run through the centre of Leicester naked with my under pants on my head...it aint gonna happen.
Manwell Pablo Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 If you get Ince i'll run through the centre of Leicester naked with my under pants on my head...it aint gonna happen. You club badge is shocking. Miton Keynes Dons, Wimbledon in disguise.

Maybe not but someone will get him so the effect on you is the same. You need to get used to the fact that if you're lucky enough to stumble across a half decent successful manager he's going to move on sooner or later. It'll happen to you, it happens to us ( although not lately ) and it'll happen to almost any club in the Football League and those up to about 7/8th in the Premier League.

Not only that, but teams pulling 24-32,000 during seasons where they get relegated will always be able to survive in a post-Chairman world. Teams who manage to sell 9,000 seats during promotion seasons are always going to be punching above their weight and when the funding is withdrawn (like the Diamonds) will fall back to their natural level. A plastic team with no support is never going to be able to hang on to its players or managers, they'll never have the clout. Shortly the novelty will start to wear off and their "support" will drift back to wearing their Manchelarsepool shirts and watching them on Sky again.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 ...I mean to say - it's not exactly the first time he'll have been pictured with a shirt before the transfer has gone through John Williams [ The Blackburn Chairman] said on SSN today they dont expect to make an appointment for between 7-10 days to replace Mark Hughes. They'll get somone in this week, I'm sure. They'll not want to get left behind in the transfer market. I reckon Maclaren is a good shout at 5-1.

I'm very used to the fact that we have a decent manager which we will be losing sooner or later and that it's a fact of footballing life. I just don't think he'll be leaving to another league 1 side. We had the second highest average attendance in the league for the second season running which isn't too bad. I'm sure there's a touch of deja vu what with you having said that a few dozen times before in one way or another.

Dont do that i could not stand the sight a gezzer from MK running down high st.bollock naked.Personally he would not be my 1st/2nd choice i would go BD /SG and if MM could not get either of them it would be MN but i cant see that happening because he struggles to get on with chairmen Oh i forgot and females running the line.

Don't worry mate, I might wear my Borat mankini. With the old pot, kettle, black thing I suppose i'm going to give the same answers in defence of the same abuse.
Matt Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 He's taking an awful long time to say no. Very good point, this has been going on for over a week ( feels like it anyway), whether he is on holiday or not surely he knows of the intrest, surely he has had a short phone call (atleast) from Winkleman and surely it's quite easy to say no within this timescale if it was a no-brainer to move. None of that means he will come here of course but as you say it is taking an awful long time to say no or give and answer.

Master Fox Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Really, what a load of old b*llox. why anyone should care is beyond me. Some of the replies to RedonRed are pathetic. Give it rest. Does it matter who we get?

Does it matter who we get? I agree the responses are getting abit tiresome, but I also think it definately matters who we end up getting, its just the drawn out process to finding that person is as always a joke.

Agree, but he did provoke the latest round of comments by posting: If you get Ince i'll run through the centre of Leicester naked with my under pants on my head...it aint gonna happen. Surely he expected to elicit a response otherwise why post that on an LCFC forum

Slightly ironic then that each year you seem to be making a habit of wanting such a "tin pot" club's manager. A club that has no right to exist and isn't fit to stand in your club's shadow. We must at least be doing something right to generate such interest. It must be pretty hard for you to compromise your beliefs and hatred of us.
Master Fox Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Agree, but he did provoke the latest round of comments by posting:Surely he expected to elicit a response otherwise why post that on an LCFC forum I don't know? It matters little, people need to stop taking it so serious. It’s just another meaningless insight into another pointless conclusion after the next. It's boring more than anything else. Can't see any point in any of this at all. That's genreally speaking, not just on this subject. All this output serves is for people continuing walking around circles but always returning to the same place where they started.

It must be pretty hard for you to compromise your beliefs and hatred of us. Please don't stereotype us all. With nearly 500 posts we must be your second team. I hope for your sake we don't get Ince as manager but assuming we do I'll put £50 towards a charity of your choice if you carry out your promise (I've no intention of being there, a write up in the Mockery will suffice)

You're getting close to abuse. I'd have deleted this post altogether but since it's already got a reaction, there's no point. Attacking RedonRed for his choice of club is childish and silly when he's being as nice and helpful as he's being (and has been in the past) in the face of frankly moronic dickishness on the part of a depressingly large minority. Friendly fans of other clubs are an asset and should be treasured. Members like Joely, Plymouth Pete and RedonRed know how to conduct themselves and provide a valuable perspective - as well as coming across as genuinely nice people. Why I'm writing half a fucking essay I don't know.

Why I'm writing half a fucking essay I don't know. Pfffft. I have no problem with Milton Keynes Dons fans as long as they admit what their club is. Which hardly any do, they talk about the end of Wimbledon as if it was inevitable and the only logical conclusion was for the Dons to move to Milton Keynes which wasn't the case, they could of surivived, they'd probable still be in a bad way now and would probable be playing non league football but with good planning Wimbledon would still have it's orginal football club. Many people might be able to forget that Milton Keynes made no effort to get it's own club off the ground the proper way and instead tried to nick one off another town (not just Wimbledon, they tried it for years on end) but some of us aren't prepared to do that. Sure he's a nice bloke etc but the clubs he supports is a joke and a disgrace to football.
