Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Arjen Robben looks about 35. His hairline looks about 50.

Fox You Forest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I'm still on for 2-2. Looking unlikely though Im now going to remove the Flag from my avatar. France were shit!
C-man Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Tevez, "The best 3 players at the moment, Torres, Ronaldo and....."pauses" Wesley Sneidjer"All i can remember is C-man cracking up. (On the way to Sheff U away) Touché
Number 6 Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 On the off the pitch thing, does this mean a goalkeeper can jump behind his line before balls are played through to make the strikers offside? To be honest, I think unless the player has gone off for treatment then he should still be considered part of the play.
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 June 2008 Author Posted 9 June 2008 Dear oh dear!!! Romania could have upset the french in what was a boring game!! The dutch are awesome against a lack lustre Italian side, i am obviously going for Italy because my missus.... She just smashed our Sky remote when they conceded that excellent second goal!! I have not seen a Italian side this poor since the Trap era when they were just defend defend..... Lippi established a attacking mentality and now on this game... i am not sure what approach they are going with, they are lazy, no shape and they are giving the ball away far to much!! The dutch have impressed me, well done to them!!

Fox You Forest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Is it just me, or does that not make sense? I too have no idea.
Number 6 Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 example: say Buffon, seeing that Ruud is about to be played in ahead of the last man, steps behind his line, putting himself off the field of play and making Ruud only have 1 defender between him and the goal when the ball is played.
Benji Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 I've not quite known anything to infuriate me more than ITV adverts and David fking Pleat giving ridiculously inept commentary
Fox You Forest Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 example: say Buffon, seeing that Ruud is about to be played in ahead of the last man, steps behind his line, putting himself off the field of play and making Ruud only have 1 defender between him and the goal when the ball is played. So your asking a linesman to look at the defensive line the attacker and the goalie. I now see what your saying but its a bit far fetched.
Benji Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Let's talk nothing more of the offside goal, Italy's decision to start diving after the first tackle on 3 minutes was enough to make the linesman favour a dutch victory
sdb Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 worst performance i've seen from Pirlo. Gattuso too probably
MC Prussian Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 What a goal, what a play, what a game. What a delight after tonight's first one.

davieG Posted 9 June 2008 Posted 9 June 2008 Italy have certainly had enough chances to get back into the game this half. Anyone predict 3-0
