Primark.

Went to get some xmas pressies, and had a look in there. Not best pleased. Seems as if the stuff they sells so cheap that people can't be arsed to pick it up.

Next. Been trying to get a clock from there for about a month. It's been discontinued (although they didn't tell me that just let me think they'd get more in had to call the main Directory to find that out) and the only one in any shop within a reasonable distance from Leicester (including Meadowhall) is on display in the Highcross, and which they are point blank refusing to sell to me. Why? You're getting no more in, you're never going to sell this clock again, why keep it on display. Why not just sell it to me? I'm not even asking for a discount. Bastards!

Had a similar experience trying to buy a foot stool from John Lewis recently. Tried to persuade us to drive to Newcastle and pick one up. Eventually they just let us have the one out of the display window.

People who have kids and are too selfish to spend time rasing them, I have a niece who I love so much and love spending hours just messing around and having fun, then you see some parents who dont seem to care one bit about their kids and certainly wouldnt dream about playing with them. I dont get it, how can you not love playing and having fun with your kids?

Probably a bit harsh as I dont have my own kids but I still dont understand it.

christmas as a whole.

Really hyped up every year, every one loks forward to it, some people get carried away and come in wearing a santa outfit which has "where's my ho's at?" wrote in permanent marker on the back.

Then it comes and goes and i always ending up asking myself "was that it? that was rubbish".

When if you ever do then you'll understand. It's not that you don't care and don't want to play but there are other things in life like working to pay bills, cooking and cleaning up after them.

You only see your niece when you visit and presumably she's pleased to see you. You don't see her when she's playing up, moaning, fighting with her sisters.

Don't judge us parents so harshly, it's not as easy as it looks.

from reading his post i dont think it was aimed at all parents... i think he was aiming it at those who clearly dont care one tiny lil bit about their kids... and some clearly dont...

was walking through town a few years ago and i was with a friend who is unable to have children.. we walked past this woman who was with a kid... she was dragging the kid almost pulling its arm out of its socket... the kid was crying. the mum yelled at the kid who could of been no older than 4-5 " SHUT UP ELSE I WILL F***KING PUNCH YOU" really upset my friend who is depserate to have a kid of her own and would treat them so well...

I think thats the sort of parent he was on about, not the good ones like yourself.

presumably you've never been stretched to the end of your tether? some people express them selves differently and that's not a phase i'd use while telling my kid off, but we're all different.

No I dont mean parents who are stressed but you see (or know) parents who just act like their kids are an inconvenience, I dont know why, but if I had a kid I would devote my time to having fun with them.

I dont judge all parents just those who seem not to care.

I see my niece alot every week 9when I'm in england), spent all day with her today.

She is amazing though, rarely moans, hardly ever cries and just wants to have fun and laugh.

I might think different if the child was moody and mardy all the time. :dunno:

p.s. I have nothing but respect for 99.9% of parents, its the hardest job in the world.
