Uncle Albert Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Best/cheapest travel agents to go to?Going looking within the next few days for le holiday and was wondering the best places travel agents to try. We done ours for Midland Co-Op Travel but we split up and had people in different Travel Agents trying to find cheaper quotes, so we started texting quotes from different Agents. They will always try and get you the cheapest holiday if their rivals have got you a better price. Thomas Cook offered us the same place in Zante which we are going to for £347 (I think) so we texted it through to my mates at Midland Co-op and they got the same place for us at £323. We spent the whole day in town booking ours.

lou Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Why are you selling shares? unless you bought them recently you must be taking a bit of a hit? Nah, bought through work and making over £3 a share....... would have been £8 a share profit before this credit crunch hit but still making a tidy profit and have promised the kids a holiday so am selling. I have some every year so its ok and we cant lose as were guaranteed our money back with a bonus at the very least.

Samilktray Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Where are you looking at going? Not got any preferences really, just decent night life n that. Will look at the more popular places like Zante, Magaluf, Faliraki and Kavos first off I reckon.
