Corky Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Sod ya then. Calm down woman, it's only a beach (and a shop).
AoWW Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Calm down woman, it's only a beach (and a shop). But what about the (minuscule) funfair... and I think you'll find you're forgetting all about the lifeboat museum. YOU were the one bigging up Cromer when I was slagging off Yarmouth.
Joe. Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Going to Spain with the family mid-July, but hoping to get away with mates in June sometime after exams. How much has yours cost you each Loft?
Durnerz Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Booked 10 days in Sorrento, Italy Roll on June 8th.
Tomassi Posted 21 January 2009 Posted 21 January 2009 Who fancies going round europe with me for 3 weeks in June :-D FAO Alex my swiss mate i will be staying in switzerland for a night or two
cisono Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 I am thinking of organising a working holiday, so I can have more holidays that I would otherwise be able to afford time-wise (and money-wise)...
Uncle Albert Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Going to Spain with the family mid-July, but hoping to get away with mates in June sometime after exams. How much has yours cost you each Loft? £323 each mate. We could of got it for £254 each if we had chosen to go 3 days earlier but one of the lads wants to have his 18th here, why I dont know. Where you thinking on going?
cisono Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 3 Weeks till Germany What are you going to be doing there?
martyn Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Prague for 4 days with the g/f in April. Hopefully a week to one of the Balearics in summer if my work situation sorts itself out anytime soon. Also for those considering Cancun, take a deep breath then consider driving a short while to Playa del Carmen instead.

No idea yet mate, just tentatively looking at the moment. I don't really care so long as it's relatively cheap, hot and there's a beach. Spain is likely.

Spain is likely. Mate as I said in a previous post all you need for a holiday is C.B.S - Cheap Buzzin' Shower. If Thomas Cook did this package they would make a fortune. Spain is pretty exspensive - some girls I know have spent £430 on a week in Magaluf. Malia is expspensive - the only relatively cheap destinations are Zante and Kavos the travel agents told us. But you can always find a cheap holiday at the Travel Agents.
Simi Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Booking ours within the next couple of weeks. With what money I'm not sure.
Uncle Albert Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Booking ours within the next couple of weeks. With what money I'm not sure. Zante still?
Simi Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Zante still? Seems that way, I've took a backseat as basically I know fack all about the places. All I know is that I've got to save up a lot of monies to get a bit drunk.

Pints of beer was about 2 euros in most bars. The Headfookers as there called are the dogs, 2 euros and they even stick a condom on the side of the glass (not used of course ). I recomend Kavos to anyone who wants a cheap lads holiday, the street with all the bars aint very big at all but its rammed, and the main nightclub Atlantis is on the beach. Shuts about 8am. Try and stay in the Trabukos studios. Its in the middle of the 2 nightclubs, cost me and the lads about £200 each, self catering. Spot on.

We were strongly considering Kavos before we booked Zante because we knew how cheap it was outhere - cos some girls went there last year. That was the main reason we decided against Kavos because we knew people who had been there and we wanted somewhere different. Sounds like your holiday to Kavos was a C.B.S holiday then?
Simi Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 FAO Muz - Any tricks of the trade to pass on. Did you have rules out there etc? I am keen on a rule for punishing people always texting their Mrs.
AoWW Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Anyone ever been to Hong Kong? Yes! Fantastic, amazing place. Loved it so, so much. One of the few cities in the world (outside the UK) I would actually consider living in.
lavrentis Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Yes! Fantastic, amazing place. Loved it so, so much. One of the few cities in the world (outside the UK) I would actually consider living in. Is Kowloon Walled City good and have you ever been to Guilin?
martyn Posted 22 January 2009 Posted 22 January 2009 Guilin as a city isn't particularly fantastic but I doubt you'd be going to sample the city centre. The scenery around it is pretty awesome however, and a trip to Yangshou would be necessary.
