I've no interest in hanging around airport terminals or putting up with the nonsense that fear of terrorism has brought about. Thankfully I've done enough plane hopping in my life when it was little more than a question of getting on and off.

Thankfully I've done enough plane hopping in my life when it was little more than a question of getting on and off. It's not that bad! Anyway. I'm off to Cyprus to see my Mum in June. Few days in the sunshine. Got a long weekend in Puglia (the heel of Italy) in August in a villa a friend has got, looks beautfiul down there. Then still planning a trip to the Middle East, probably around November - looking to take in Jordan, Syria and Israel. Hopefully squeeze in a weekend somewhere in England as well with mates, looking at Suffolk, the coast looks quite nice for a weekend break.
Monk Posted 1 April 2009 Posted 1 April 2009 Just starting the plans for a 3 week trip to Ecuador in September... I just hope I can afford it. Going to focus away from the tourist centres and more on the remote Andean towns. Don't think I will get to the Galapagos but there are some remote islands not too far from the shore which are cheaper and have similar wildlife.
