teblin Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Blackpool's chairman is on holiday until this weekend, so we'd have to wait a nother day r so before we could get permission to speak to Larry. I thought i'd read that he returned yesterday somewhere. Might have been over on TB.
Fox in a Box Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Ohhh shut that door.... larry grayson is the one...
AyewJoking Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 You know you're a joke of a club when Manufactured Dons wont give you the time of day.
Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Author Posted 13 June 2008 Oh well, Ince didn't want to come. This was Ince's decision, not MKD's, I'm sure. Going to be interesting to see, who we will get now. I hate this wait, it creates uncertainty, and a feeling that whoever comes in, was not really first choice. We are a circus. I didn't like it obviously because it either means were doing shite and the manager has been sacked, or we have lost a good manager by a bigger team poaching him. But in a weird way before Milan came I always enjoyed the new manager discussion e.t.c and used to get excited about it, Now we have Milan pulling he strings I get very worried.
DBEightyFive Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Its that seed of doubt that its just going to be another big screw up that gets to me more than anything
renards Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Newell or Tilson for me PLEASE. Or Neil Lennon if we're gonna go for someone completely in-experienced. Lennon will make a very good manager, he is rated by the players from MON era as one of the most detemined they have ever come across. Signed very early by MON + instrumental with all of our success then. Sadly I think his career path is sorted...would be a decent call though
markbsac Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 read stan collymores book we dont want gregory ..hes a two faced back stabing ********
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Complete lack of surprise. Complete indifference. Thou art my only friends in these dark hours. Hold me close. Hold me.
Asha Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Why the fook would Davies want to come to a League One club, with a chairman with the amount of managers MM has sacked? He wouldn't. Nor would Grayson come down a division to lose his job in a month. The club is fooked up now, at best we're going to get a shit League One manager, or JG. We can't expect big names now, we're a shit football club.
Maybes Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Why would Billy Davies come here after being second fiddle to the job and when he could easily get a job in the championship!!??
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 OHMIGAWD I'VE JUST SPOTTED ROY WEGERLE IN MORRISONS!!!! HE WAS BUYING ICED BUNS.... 40 OF THEM!!!!
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If we appoint Gregory I will cry. I will also shed a tear, and in the heat of the moment demand a season ticket refund But I know it's gonna happen
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If we appoint John Gregory - I'll be laughing all the way to the suicide booth. They have been invented. Right?
Guest Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 This whole episode smacks of what a pathetic joke of a club we have become. It's not the fact that we've been knocked back by a Plastic Wannabe club, or its current incumbent, it's the fact that we are in this position that pisses me off. MM's lack of decisiveness is costing us dearly. Last season, it cost us Championship status. This year, he appears to be even less sure of what he wants, and in the mean time, we don't have a manager, we will soon be missing out on players, and there will be no point in having a pre-season. On top of that, with the off-field shenanigans, I wouldn't be surprised if nobody wanted to come here. Tossers, the lot of them.
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Ian Holloway is out of a job, maybe he'd come to us. So is Manwell Pablo. I reckon he'd do a sound job.
Phlashman Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If we end up with Gregory I blame everyone who wanted rid of Holloway.
Maybes Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If we end up with Gregory I blame everyone who wanted rid of Holloway. Holloway didn't want to be here anyway mate.
mancunianfox Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If we end up with Gregory I blame everyone who wanted rid of Holloway. I'd still rather have Gregory than Holloway...
Jack Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 This is not good news, but we all expected it. Lets hope that it's not fooking Gregory now please.
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 SSN only just picked up on it, Got it on there Breaking News Ticker. I want a manger by Tuesday then we can sort our squad out and finally start building for next season, We are a joke
dog_4 Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 i want Paul Lambert, had a fantastic playing career, played under o'neil for several years and is in the same mould with his passion and did a good job at wycombe.
Babylon Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I still cannot believe for one moment that Gregory is a serious contender. Lambert, Cotterill and Newell must surely be ahead... even if they are unspectacular.
