Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Leicester City today confirmed they had been refused permission to speak to MK Dons manager Paul Ince Official Club Texts. More information on lcfc.com Thanks MK Dons - Couldn't you have just done this last week when you publically announced our interest.
Phlashman Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Oh dear, No chance he's going to resign from MK:Dons is there?
Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Author Posted 13 June 2008 It's getting closer,John...... I can't even say it If he (Gregory) is appointed; It's getting closer, Milan...... Can I have a refund on my Season Ticket - Due to your inept managerial appointments.
thybluefox Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Oh dear,No chance he's going to resign from MK:Dons is there? By reading the article on the OS, it looks like Ince made the decision not to leave? Thats how it sounds anyway.
Joe. Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Well I don't think we really expected him to come did we? I just hope to god it's not ****ing Gregory.
Rodders Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Why the hell could MK Dons not have done this before? Doesn't seem like it was completely dependent on Ince, so they could have just refused permission a couple of weeks ago. Surely they're not still bitter about us taking Allen. Really hope we get 6 points against them next season now.
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Let's get this Gregory started. Please, no. Leicester City can get worse you know, & appointing JG as manager will get the ball rolling, Can you imagine the uproar if that was to happen, JG as manager of Leicester City
Lets Be having You Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1327695,00.html No Ince Then
Number 6 Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Please, no. Leicester City can get worse you know, & appointing JG as manager will get the ball rolling, Can you imagine the uproar if that was to happen, JG as manager of Leicester City I'd prepare yourself for it.

teblin Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1327695,00.htmlNo Ince Then He didn't want the job by the sounds of that statement.
Lets Be having You Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1327695,00.html Ince dont want to come here
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I'd prepare yourself for it. It's actually possible isn't it, There is a good chance John Gregory could be appointed. Please, Billy Davies
Mark Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...1327695,00.html Statement issued by Milton Keynes Dons in response to Leicester City's request to approach Paul Ince about their managerial vacancy:"Following discussions between the Chairman and Paul Ince, it has been decided that Paul will not be pursuing the opportunity at Leicester City. "Given Paul's success in his emerging managerial career, it can come as no surprise that speculation continues to see his name linked with a number of managerial vacancies. "In spite of this, as we look forward to the forthcoming League 1 season, the Club remains committed to keeping the hottest young manager in English football at stadiummk."
Joe. Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I'd be pretty sure Milan's got somebody in his mind in preparation for hearing MK Dons' rejection so I expect to hear the new appointment in the next few days.
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I think as soon as he had a realistic chance of getting the Blackburn job, the chances of us getting him were over. He won't be going to Blackburn, but it will have made him realise that he's getting Premiership interest even at a micky mouse outfit. If he left there to come here and then went to the Premiership (which he'll be going to within a year) then it might not look good on him for keep dropping clubs at every opportunity. Sensible decision from Ince. I wish him all the best. Now then Mr Gregory, you're a coont.
Mark Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If he didn't want to come here (even apply for the job) what were we playing at approaching him when there were apparently 20 good applicants for the job. I'm dreading the outcome.
