I would welcome him with open arms.

Let's face MM has taken previous managers on before, i.e Harry Redknapp.

Maybe he is trying to do the same thing with Nigel Worthington.

It's total bollocks, of course, it was heard down the pub...

BUT FUCK ME, I'M ALL OVER IT.

TIME FOR A SIGNATURE AND A BANDWAGON YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH.:ph34r:

Worthers would be a bloody good choice...

... if only we'd done it 12 months ago...

Nigel Worthington is in the frame for the job.

Before you all shout and scream, YES I do know that he is currently manager of Northern Ireland, that is why I am perplexed.

We'd pay far better wages than NI, fact. Having said that I hope there's nothing in it.

STOP PRESS.

Groundbreaking news.

Having just spent some time in my local hostely, getting politely persisted, I was given some info which leaves me slightly perplexed.

I have heard from a very reliable source who has good contacts within the club that, wait for it ...........................

Nigel Worthington is in the frame for the job.

The source was absolutely emphatic that he has been interviewed and that many people within the club would welcome his return.

Sorry can't name the source as the club know him very well.

If it's true, then wouldn't complain if he was at the helm once again.

If he wasn't good enough for the gig last time why is he now? :dunno:

hes silly to reject us

We're a big club , with a relatively rich chairman, and we have ambition

MK DONS are a joke, they have about a two year history, they've got no money, they have no fanbase

and i feel they will suffer relegation this year...

oh yeh, what kind of club has the word 'DONS' in it, who the fook came up with that

clearly their board is as stupid as him!!

Mandaric moving on from Ince

Leicester chairman still hopeful over other candidates

Milan Mandaric has admitted he was disappointed to miss out on Paul Ince, but is still confident of finding the right man to take charge at Leicester.

The Foxes have been denied permission to speak to the Milton Keynes Dons boss about the possibility of replacing Ian Holloway.

Mandaric had been eager to discuss the role with Ince but he maintains there are still three strong candidates in the running.

"Needless to say I am disappointed, but Paul was not alone on the list and we are going on with the procedure of interviewing other people about being our manager," the Leicester chairman told Sky Sports News.

"Our process is going forward. We wanted a four-man shortlist but now we still have three.

"There is no No.1 candidate. It is not that we lost Paul and we lost No.1, it does not work that way.

Respect

"If we could talk to him he would have been a strong candidate but as we can't that means he is not a good candidate, because I am only interested in people who are very willing to work with us.

"MK Dons chose not allow us to speak to him and we do appreciate and respect that."

Mandaric accepts that it is important to make an appointment quickly and he is aiming to make an announcement in the next few days.

He said: "I hope in the next two, three or four days to be able to mention names but they are good individuals who would love the job.

"It is important to get a man in at the right time and my goal is sometime in the next week."

Don't know about anyone else, but this is making me even more excited about playing franchise.

The way they have things set up i think we could be sharing divisions more often than not in the next few years - could be a new rivalry?

It'll be interesting to see who they attract to replace him compared to who we have dredged up from the depths.

Martin Allen?

With Holloway the favourite to replace Ince, it'll make the first game of the season very interesting....

Oh - does that mean we should start joining their forum and moaning about him like Plymouth did?

There again, I guess Franchise don't have their own forum - they probably just try to take over someone else's.

So that's what ROR's game is then.

What odds on Ince going on to be an incredibly successful manager, who we have had several chances to appoint ourselves in the past 12 months. Now we'll never get that chance.

I used to beat myself up that I never had sex with Claudia Schiffer - but then realised that there would always be other super models. Don't beat yourself up over it Wooly, there'll be other managers...at least seventeen this season in all probability.

We've gone for him twice and been rejected twice.

Appointed to Blackburn on a three year deal.

Bit harsh considering we don't have any history with them!
