Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Author Posted 13 June 2008 i want Paul Lambert, had a fantastic playing career, played under o'neil for several years and is in the same mould with his passion and did a good job at wycombe. Havn't we been through this before. His record is terrible, and his style of football is terrible, Wycombe we in the play-offs and there fans were happy about that but they didn't see Lambert as any loss really because his style of football is defensive and shite. Grayson. No-one else is on my list apart from Grayson now. I think i'm probably pissing in the wind with that now and Milan will fail in his new appointment.
Dr The Singh Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I still cannot believe for one moment that Gregory is a serious contender. Lambert, Cotterill and Newell must surely be ahead... even if they are unspectacular. I forgot about that big eared tw@t, he's in with a shout!!!
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 It's going to be Steve Cotterill. I just realised.
Benji Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Fair play to MK, sign of a bit of ambition on their part
Babylon Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Fair play to MK, sign of a bit of ambition on their part I'd think it's more to do with us being a shamble than them being ambitious. If Ince wanted to come their Chairman would have said ok.
Babylon Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Mike Newell will do. The guy is a cock... but not as big a cock as gregory.
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 We should be careful what he say about MK Dons by the way - they might steal our club otherwise.
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 We should be careful what he say about MK Dons by the way - they might steal our club otherwise. But they might buy us a place in the Premiership
Matt Posted 13 June 2008 Author Posted 13 June 2008 Anybody listening to MM on SSN. What did big conk have to day?
Tilley Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 What did big conk have to day? We gonna have a manager by the middle of next week, apparently.
lavrentis Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 We gonna have a manager by the middle of next week, apparently. What date did he set originally 15th-16th June wasn't it.
Unabomber Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Grayson was my top choice and still is. I just hope we don't get Gregory, and I hope whoever we get they manage to batter MKDons. Oh and they could have prehaps refused us permission last week instead of leaving it so long, and wasting both clubs time!
Benji Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 On a plus side maybe the muppets on here throwing around unrealistic names will shut up and realise that we DESERVE who we get, then again probably not.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 If he din't want to come here then I'm pleased he's turned us down. He could've done it earlier though.
Maybes Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 I dont understand why he puts himself under pressure with these deadlines he keeps coming out with, becuase if he dont meet them he just looks like a complete cock....even more of one than he is at the moment. If that is possible?
eye666 Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Ah well, hopefully he'll stay at MK:Dons, we get six points off them and chant at how he had his chance to join City.
DanTheFox07 Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Mandaric has said there are only three names in the running now, I don`t even think grayson is in that 3! wouldnt blackpool have spoken publically if we have approached grayson by now. Ive not heard anything bout gregory but if he is appointed then sum`s up that Mandaric is a failure.
demon_dog Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Didn't expect Ince to come here anyway. I recently read a report that stated Paul Ince was on holiday up until this week, hence the delay in getting a reply. Didn't Blackpool issue a hands of warning regarding their manager, seem to recall seeing this somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if MM appoints someone that no - one has even mentioned, remember when MA was appointed, lots of names were mentioned, I cannot recall anyone mentioning his name. Like most people I would not like to see John Gregory as manager, I've been a big supporter of Mike Newell from the outset, don't think he would get the job though. Let's have a former city player here, Mancini is out of work, he'll do.
managerinsidernews Posted 13 June 2008 Posted 13 June 2008 Hi lads, New around here, and not a Leicester fan, but I have a few bits and bobs for you. Billy Davies is not in for the job in anyway. Apparently he will not be getting the job, or speaking to the club. Simon Grayson returned from his holiday this morning, and will be talking to Leicester within the next 24 hours, will also bring Steve Thomson with him as his number two. 'Larry' knows League One inside out and has already taken a club out of the division, would you be happy with him?
