Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 That was fantastic. I was leaping around an empty house. Nihat is a bit of a Football Manager legend for me. I love the bloke. That finish for their 3rd was pure class.
Maybes Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 I pretended I was a turkish fan and celebration by waving a cushion in the air oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!!

Jack Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Turned it on with about 20 mins left at 2-0 thought it was all over. Couldn't believe it, great come back. A blunder from arguably the best keeper in the world. What a finish from Nihat for the last goal. Turkey keeper sent off right at the end. Brilliant!

filbertway Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Weak, at least they'll get a pasting from Croatia. I love the fact I watched the from the 85th minute though

I'm the same with Sychev of Russia but he had a crap first game (playing out of position) and didn't even start against Greece, hopefully he'll play against Sweden
Bert Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Well you're just no fun. I am. Just not when it comes to boring wank Turkey.
lildave3 Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 I am. Just not when it comes to boring wank Turkey. Boring?!?! Behave.
Bert Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Boring?!?! Behave. I meant all this bumming of them.
Tommeh Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 Well you're just no fun. You're just after that £2.50 I said you can have if my 5er on the Turks to win comes in. Maybe I should start watching this tournament
lildave3 Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 I meant all this bumming of them. There's not THAT much, it's mainly me. Oh, and Joe, but that's all for Kazim. You're just after that £2.50 I said you can have if my 5er on the Turks to win comes in.Maybe I should start watching this tournament I'd rather Holland win, i'd get a little bit more moolah.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 June 2008 Posted 15 June 2008 YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS:laugh: ****ING BRILLIANT!!! Nihat out of nowhere. fooking Turks Nihat and Arda Nihat is a bit of a Football Manager legend for me. I love the bloke. I love all this Nihat appreciation that's occuring right now. Great match to put the bland, boring, dull, lifeless Czechs out of a competition, hopefully they'll re-evaluate their position and realise that with no decent up and coming strikers, and Koller retiring, the hoofball tactic won't work anymore. That team isn't a patch on Euro 96. Unlucky Alexei and jb-101.
Koke Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 There's not THAT much, it's mainly me. Oh, and Joe, but that's all for Kazim. And you forgot me
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 And you forgot me And me, I went through the harrowing ordeal of a name change in order to express my love for those crazy cousins of ours.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 June 2008 Posted 16 June 2008 Which in turn wasn't a patch on the Czech team of Euro 2004! Disagree. Euro 96 had Poborsky, Nedved, Beger et al all at arguably their best. And no one in the Euro 2004 squad was as talented as Poborsky at his best, apart from maybe Nedved, who the Czechs have severely missed.
