We seem to have hundreds of strikers but we were unable to score enough goals in the championship.

If you were NP who would you keep to flourish in L.1?

and who are the cart horses who need dumping.

Hume & Campbell - but if DJ doesn't have the desire then he can **** off. The rest of them are a sack of shit so they can go...and that includes Barry. If we can inject a load of pace into the wings and through the centre I'd even be tempted to play Hume on his own up front.

Having said all of this, I'm expecting Hume to go during the summer.

If Hume goes we're pretty much buggered, he is our top goalscorer for the last 3 seasons and shouldn't even be allowed to consider leaving, we should fight to keep him here IMO. Him and Fryatt up front should be able to do the business in league1.

to be honest, we need to sell/deport howard, hayles, odhiambo, dodds and Dj

because...

TO SELL

Howard - Well, to be honest, he's shite, regardless of what league.. he had a lucky season for Derby.. no reason to keep him

Hayles - old, clumsy, and again, not impressive

Odhiambo - he's young, however, he doesn't seem to score in proper league games

Dodds - league 2 standard

Dj - a younger, higher payed Hayles, and we could get a couple of million for him anyway

That depends very much on who we sign in the next few weeks. I'm hoping for a nice, new shiny striker, who doesn't want to walk the ball into the back of the net like our current lot seem to want to do.

Dodds wants to stay at Lincoln doesn't he do i don't think we will have him next season.

Campbell, Hume, Chambers and Barry Hayles are the ones i picked.

Mckay isn't quite ready for League 1 i don't think and i don't rate Odihambo. And as for Fryatt, he's a fat lazy waste of space and a complete failiure for us.

to say the rest are a sack of shit is bollox - Howard, Hayles, Fryatt, DJ can all fook off for me - the young lads are not shit and should be given a chance - 'fans' like you inspire confidence into the future of the club dont ya!

I really hope Hume stays, and Pearson plays him up front. Fryatt can either start doing something useful or go, Campbell is too inconsistent, Hayles is too slow but I like his effort, Howard I just do not know what to expect.

Maybe Nige is lining up a new striker?

21 people would keep Fryatt  ?

Apparently so, yet hardly any of them seem to able to speak out and say why they would keep him. Which is confusing.

The stats speak for themselves when it comes to Fryatt, yet his followers continue with the blinkers on and hail him as the best finisher we have.

You have answered your own question there mate.

There are young players and there are good young players. I think back down the years to the likes of Stuart Campbell, Stuart Wilson, Oakes, Branston, Stevenson etc.. They were all given chances and they were all mediocre at best. Of the current crop, half of them will probably go on to make it in this league and some of them the Championship but there's one or two in there that just won't make the grade. Better to tell them now, alert the likes of Farnborough, Kettering and Kings Lynn that they're available for peanuts rather than condemn them to a place in the reserves for three years.

Hume plus a new striker for me with maybe McKay and one other waiting in the wings to grab their chance.

I would keep Hume, DJ, Big Ricky and Chambers.

The rest could walk out the door and I wouldn't care (apart from Barry, that would be a very emotional farewell).

I wasn't referring to the youngsters seeing as they have had no 1st team experience worthy of a decent appraisal but I'm delighted you have faith in them - I am sure that your words will bring them plenty of encouragement and will warm the hearts of their respective mothers.
