MC Prussian Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Alternatively, why not going for David Degen? He's training with Moenchengladbach, but out of contract. So I've read in a newspaper. Available for £560'000. Only downside? Right-winger.

Why the fook would you put a right-winger at left-back or even right back. We have a surplus of strikers, why not put DJ in goal? Let's just buy players because they're available. Are you Milan?

I do agree with you but he wasn't necessarily suggesting that he would play him at left-back.

Btw, Degen can play right-wing and right-back alike. As for DJ in goal, I'm afraid he's too small.

As for DJ in goal, I'm afraid he's too small. Sorry, but your post said 'Only downside? Right-winger'. So I read it and lost it, especially as we were talking about the left-back position. This club is in the position it is for many reasons, but one of them is that over the last few seasons we have been like kids in the sweet-shop 'that looks nice I'll have it' Hopefully we now have a manger who will buy players because they are actually needed, radical I know but it stops you having a first-team squad of 39, when Chelsea can get by on 25.

Granted I haven't seen much of him, but from what I have seen D Degen is much better than League 1. If we could get him then great.
Joe. Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 why this player what to come to leicester Cos he liek it.
Simi Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I'd take Berner, it would be a pretty decent signing. Would he?
Tevez Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I'm sick of people saying people will be good signings. No-one can say Berner would be good, Because he never played for Blackburn! And Tunchev aswell, Bulgarian International? Enough said. Don't get me started on the other 3, i'm not really moaning because they will be more than likely up and coming players but no-one has ever seen then play let alone judge them.

Second that
Candidcamera Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Lets put it this way it is easy to tell a real bad buy.
Brainy Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 And Tunchev aswell, Bulgarian International? Enough said. We may never have seen him, but are you saying Bulgarian players are not good enough for League One?
Tevez Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 We may never have seen him, but are you saying Bulgarian players are not good enough for League One? Yeah I am. Prime example, Radostin Kishishev. Leeds Do the maths pal.

I agree with you, However earlier in this thread you said "He is lazy as fcuk and will be on big money fact" so your judging him have you seen him play?
boosmanana Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 So Berbatov isn't good enough for league one then?

Football is all about opinions surely. That's why we debate it and stick our opinions in here. They're just opinions. I dare say they'll be plenty to be sick about come the start of the season. No, this time it's gonna be different...
David Guiza Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Yeah I am.Prime example, Radostin Kishishev. Leeds Do the maths pal. What about Martin Petrov - Man City Stillian Petrov - Aston Villa Dimitar Berbatov - Spurs
Thracian Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Thracian wont like him, doesnt score goals The last thing we need is another Clapham.
MikeyT Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 The last thing we need is another Clapham. What was wrong with Clapham? Thought he did a good steady job while he was here?
Father Ted Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Has jon harley got himself a club yet? That is actually a great call...
