Jimmy2Drags Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Has jon harley got himself a club yet? Good call. Loads of experience but not past it. Would look well good in our defence.
dandannieldanok Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 What was wrong with Clapham?Thought he did a good steady job while he was here? He was adequate enough agreed, it's just like those that criticise Paul Henderson again, players like this are good enough for our position but some just aren't satisfied.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 What was wrong with Clapham?Thought he did a good steady job while he was here? What was wrong with Jamie Clapham? Simple, he was shite. My Grandad's 1980's Ford Escort is better and quicker than Jamie Clapham.
act smiley Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I wouldn't go so far as to call him shite. He was extremely mediocre, but somewhat perhipheral to the main shiteness of the team.
Tevez Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I agree with you, However earlier in this thread you said "He is lazy as fcuk and will be on big money fact" so your judging him have you seen him play? If I told you the story about him, you wouldn't believe me. What aboutMartin Petrov - Man City Stillian Petrov - Aston Villa Dimitar Berbatov - Spurs Thanks for telling me the teams they play for mate! I'd never knew they would of played for them Anyway, how long have they played in League One for? Which was the point I was getting at

MikeyT Posted 11 July 2008 Posted 11 July 2008 What was wrong with Jamie Clapham? Simple, he was shite. My Grandad's 1980's Ford Escort is better and quicker than Jamie Clapham. Sorry, have to disagree. Like i said previously, thought he did a good steady job while he was here and i think he would be more than adequate in League 1. Id take him for at least another season.

Yes... that would be a signing that just oozed ambition.
Jimmy Lad Posted 13 July 2008 Posted 13 July 2008 So he's not been announced as signed nor is he on the trip to Slovenia. Any news Babylon?
Babylon Posted 13 July 2008 Author Posted 13 July 2008 So he's not been announced as signed nor is he on the trip to Slovenia.Any news Babylon? Nope. I only hear about medicals. As I said could have been a weeks trial and we may have decided against him.
MikeyT Posted 13 July 2008 Posted 13 July 2008 Yes... that would be a signing that just oozed ambition. You dont need to be sarcastic. Tell me where he put a wrong foot while played for us please. Im sure like me you wont be able to think of many instances he did much wrong!
Thracian Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 You dont need to be sarcastic.Tell me where he put a wrong foot while played for us please. Im sure like me you wont be able to think of many instances he did much wrong! You're right. He didn't do much wrong. I've often wondered if that's been the criteria for signing players in recent seasons. And in consequence not doing much wrong meant we didn't concede many goals but didn't do much to score em either.
Ric Flair Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 So this chap has had a medical, been training with us all week and because we've still not signed him, chances are he's going to sign for a higher placed club. Cushty.
Charnwood Norris Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Berner does have limited experience of life in English football, having joined Blackburn from Basel in January 2007. However, he failed to make an impact at Ewood Park and was subsequently released at the end of last season. He joined Norwich for pre-season training at the start of July, but failed to earn a permanent contract. At present, the Foxes remain favourites to land his services, but he should have no shortage of takers should a move to the Walkers Stadium fail to materialise. He must be crap if Norwich told him to get on his bike after a training trial...
Master Fox Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 So this chap has had a medical, been training with us all week and because we've still not signed him, chances are he's going to sign for a higher placed club. Cushty. Lee Hendrie
Ric Flair Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Lee Hendrie Hendrie had neither a medical nor trained with us last summer. The Mercury made a cock up when they said he's been training with us and later removed that from publication on the website.

Also we only have one young left full back, who is apprantly, being touted by many different Premiership/Championship clubs. A left back is required here if only to provide competition to Mattock and/or cover in times of International appreances, injuries and suspensions.

Asha Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11712_3944972,00.html West Ham want him? They can have him if it means they stay away from Mattock...
