purpleronnie Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 I don't believe it, Vaughn 0, I've typed until I bled that he shouldnt be playing and he fails again, I understand he's a good captain but he has to produce with the bat. I think that 100 against NZ saved him but it was a rarity indeed, I think he made 2 last test and only face 3 balls now a duck. I don't get it. My £8 on SA at 13/8 looks better now. But I hope I lose the money. C'mon Flinty and broady.
billyfox1 Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 England struggling i think that's an under statement. 150-6
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 i think that's an under statement. 150-6 I'm just rubbing it in

C'mon Flinty and broady. add to that the fact that we keep picking the only one of about 4 w/keeper batsmen in contention who can't hit the f***er off the square and drops as many as he catches and we are pretty much handicapped before we start
SamL Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 just to make it even worse the sun is out now. But we've got a wicket. One down, nine to go.
Brainy Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 Im surprised nobody's mentioned AB DV's 'catch' earlier on from Strauss. I know it wasn't given in the end but im pretty pissed off that AB claimed he has caught it. 70-2 now

Someone at work did mention it. Sounds very dodgy
Milky Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 yeh AB is a ****. Plus the others around him celebrating. wooooohhhhhhooooooooooo!! Fatty bum bum is out
Brainy Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 76-4 :D Oh dear Vaughan has just done an AB Back to 76-3 I think. As much as id love him to be out I cant really say that is out and complain about what AB did earlier.
Milky Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 76-4 :DOh dear Vaughan has just done an AB , bugger! it did look a bit too good to be true
RowlattsFox Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 It wasn't quite as clear as the AB one earlier but it was the right decision in the end. Although I'm not sure you can give the decision and then change your mind, if you can do that then Cook should have stood his ground because he knew he didn't hit it and let the umpires look at it again.
SamL Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 Good to see Flintoff get a wicket on his return, shame he failed with the bat though. He's got good bowling figures for the innings though. A few quick wickets in the morning and we're in with a shout.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 July 2008 Posted 19 July 2008 Howd the aussie Patto go i see he only bowled 3 overs did he get injured or what? His a good bowler he got plucked from nowhere a couple of years ago for us (Victoria) and bowled very well his actually an alpine skier as well but a very good raw bowler

I hope he picks up his performance today because if not the gamble we took won't have paid off.
SamL Posted 19 July 2008 Posted 19 July 2008 A first test wicket for Mr. Pattinson, he's got Amla lbw for 38.
