SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 My 100m record is something like 17 seconds. Im like a steam train it takes me a while to get going but once im going i'm flying but i run out of steam easily.
Uncle Albert Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 My 100m record is something like 17 seconds. Never been a fan of running for nothing. So your 100m record is probably quicker than mine a lot quicker.
Asha Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Im like a steam train it takes me a while to get going but once im going i'm flying but i run out of steam easily. Having read enough of your posts, I take it that's sex related too?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Having read enough of your posts, I take it that's sex related too? I should time myself and see who would finish first, Roo running 100m or Roo doing the deed..................................probably the later twice over
Head Honcho Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 How crazy is the fact that when Usain Bolt was 15 he ran the 200m in 20.3 seconds ? When I was 15, I finished runner-up in the East Of England 200m and ran 23.4 seconds! The guy is a machine ! Every year a firm I think it was the Milk Marketing Board used to sponsor a day down Saffron Lane to find the hidden talent in local schools. My memory is not as good as it was but I'm sure I was doing sub 15 seconds for 100m when I was around 14/15 and got nowhere near the chance to hook up with a coach.

I was lucky enough to go to a school which was excellent for sports, so had the benefit of coaching at school which also made it easier to get a coach at my local club. Problem with me though was motivation. I always found athletics really boring!
Guest Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 Had to laugh when I heard Chelsea Dagger being played after a pointy was won in the Volleyball. 'Twas just like being down the Walkers I tell ya

Master Fox Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 The Olympics are boring me now. People at work talking about each sport as if they know something. I'm bored of that opening sequence on the BBC. I'm sick of hearing the words 'London 2012' & 'Team GB' I was sucked in for while, but man, i hope they hurry up and finish.
Darkzzz_ Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 It was you wasn't it Thai lady boy Pffffffttttt You have some issues. Freak. Anyway back to the Olympics, Degale was quailty in the boxing.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 For those who're interested in whre our Olympic champions come from then there's a map here. If you get rid of Chris Hoy and Nicole Cooke (from Scotland and Wales respectively) then England would still be fourth. Geraint Thomas was in teh Team Pursuit, I'm assuming we'd win that anyway as an England team. So the bitter Australians can pipe down, we'd still be beating them.

I've not seen a thing - but it sounds on 5Live as though it's the new 'Diana is Dead'...with everyone phoning in to rave about how they are going to go to London and party hard in four years time. I didn't want to watch men running in an oval path six months ago, I don't want to watch them now and it's highly improbable that I'll be doing it in the future. If anyone has the edited highlights (consisting solely of the female beach volleyball) I'm interested in watching that as I believe it is every man's duty to support ladies trying their best in bikinis.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 the erm, Taekwando or however you spell it, was fairly entertaining, even if the result wasn't quite as such.
dandannieldanok Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 the erm, Taekwando or however you spell it, was fairly entertaining, even if the result wasn't quite as such. Shame, just left himself open at the end, lack of experience told, he looks a great talent though.

Master Fox Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 'London 2012' Taekwondo hopeful. He has talent. Just needs to work hard, and 'Team GB' will have another gold.
