Get some kabaddi in.

Man I love my kabaddi.

Manga Mithapuriya would be on the gold-trail fo-sho!

I bet you wrote that down on a stickit at work, then typed it in here didn't you? DIDN'T YOU?

You do less work than me.

Is a stickit a cheap alternative to a post-it?

And no, I didn't.

I learnt to spell it as I thought I might end up using it a lot as a kabaddi enthusiast.

The Team GB target was 35 including 12 golds, they have done ever so well to smash this.

Really happy how well we have performed.

It can only inspire the nation for the 2012 games in London.

:)

Yes but will it inspire our track and field athletes

Unfortunately because the games will be held in London they'll have a load more dollar thrown at them only for them to fail miserably again!

Christine Ohuruogu excepted of course.

Is it true that Ohuruogugugug (the black bird who won the Gold in 400) was done for drug taking and was banned a couple of yrs ago?

Then why wasnt Dwain Chambers given a lifeline back in?

Is it double standards?

I dont know much about it so i'll shut up.

I think because Chambers failed a test but the woman just didnt take one.

Could be wrong though.

Christine O never failed a drugs test, she just failed to turn up a 3 consecutive tests.

I don't think she or any other British athlete will do that again.

I think at the time the drug testing policy wasn't taken that seriously by some and an example had to be made.

There has never been any suggestion that she was trying to dodge the test because she feared a positive result she just got complacent.

Why would you not turn up...unless you got something to hide???

Fair do's anyway...she did well.....talking about doing well....

Bolt was lightning!!!(you get that one LD3???) :)

He's fcuking awesome and the possing before hand was pretty funny considering the rest of them all looked like they were shitting themselves.

Im sure Bolt was chatting up the girl standing near his box!!

(I'd have had him if i didnt have this achilles trouble!!!)

From what I gather, the 3 times she was called up to take the tests she was unavailable. However, she was tested each time she missed them straight after and passed every one, so if she had 'something to hide' she hid the fooker very quickly.

I may be wrong though.

Good run by Denvers then.

I think it goes a bit like this....You have to provide the testing types with a full list of your whereabouts for the year (or some other not workable period of time), where and when you'll be training etc....The testers then turn up unannounced at one of these places and if you're not there for whatever reason (traffic/the track's got something else on so you can't train/say in bed etc...) you're deemed to have missed a test.

It's definitely something along those lines....I think.....possibly.

Spit The Dog Says Phelps Can Have His Record - Asks Can He Lick His Own Balls Though?

Spit The Dog has said Olympian Michael Phelps can have his record of the most Gold medals won at an Olympics. He doesn't care but he asks of Phelps...."Can you lick your balls....I can?"

Spit who won 7 gold medals at the 1978 games held in Argentina was trained by Oliver Hardy lookalike Bob Carolgees who went on to become a highly successful dustbin man. Spit now lives in a park, under some trees, broke and homeless but still proud that at least he, unlike Phelps, can lick his own balls and, if needed, could survive by eating faeces.

"F**k Phelps - I made my mark," Spits says as he gnaws on his gonads. "I was the greatest ever and I have my memories. The only thing I didn't like was Bob sticking his fist up my arse - neither did Lenny Henry."

Meanwhile puppet dog, Mark Spitz, was arrested in America somewhere for 'gobbing' on a copper.

UK Athletics introduced a system whereby Athletes have to say where they will be for 1 hour for 5 seperate days in each week. Athletes would then be randomly tested, not being able to avoid the tests as they don't know when the testers will be coming. However, when this system was introduced a lot of athletes missed one or two of these random tests as they were not used to having to call up UK athletics every time their schedule changed. So in the case of Christene there was one time where she got to her training ground and it had been booked out for a school sports day so she had to find somewhere else to train and another where she was simply late to training because she was stuck in traffic.

Since the Christene case all the UK athletes have been extra careful to make sure it does not happen to them, many switiching their assigned time to 6am when they can guarenteee they will be in there house. But the system was not fully understood when it was first brought in.

Now I think if a system is in place and it is broken then an athlete should be punished. But people need to realise that the UK athletics report into the Christene case suggested there was no evidence that she was cheating or trying to avoid testing. In fact the dozen or so passed tests in that time all but proves that she wasn't. Christene has served her time for being reckless now lets celebrate what a fantastic athlete she is. Those branding her a cheat should research the case before slandering her.

BTW- What a mental event that open water swimming is! Such an exciting mens race today.

It's not a UK rule it is standard in Athletics,

i remeber reading an Article just before the olympics started where Craig Motram (5000m runner) had a testers and her husband show up to get him for a urine test and they rocked up late at night after he had just been for a wee-wee as he was going to bed the tester and husband had to stay up and watch him sleep all night as he stated that he had just been and couldn't go again. When he woke up there they were still siting there. As is his normal ritual he went to the toilet chaufferoned by the testers husband and he sat down on the toilet and the husband said sorry u must stand to do your urine test, much to the guys discuss when Motram said sorry mate this isn't for you i do this every morning as the guy stood there and watched him poo followed by the urine sample 8 hours after they arrived :crylaugh:

Above is a true story i couldn't stop laughing.

Uk athletics at its best - can you imagine jeremy wariner turning up and someone saying "well you can have a quick run between the egg-and-spoon race and the sack-race

oh, and look out for allyson felix - she's my favourite
