Daggers Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 What's going on with the numbering in the club shop?
Rocky Dennis Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Hmmmm.I know he'll probably score goals, and I know he's probably just the type of player we need. But I really did not like him when he left. And when he scored against us at Blackburn. And Blackpool. <_< Far better to sign players that dont score innit
MC Prussian Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 All the pictures... sorry if already a linkOfficial pictures He looks like a schoolboy next to Pearson.

filbertway Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 What's going on with the numbering in the club shop? Guns!
Rocky Dennis Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 What? Too many whingeing sods on here! He left-So What? He scored against us-So What?
lildave3 Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Too many whingeing sods on here!He left-So What? He scored against us-So What? I was saying I wasn't happy when he left, and then when he scored against us twice. What's wrong with that? I can't imagine you jumping for joy when he did those things.

I can't imagine you jumping for joy when he did those things. When he left i was gutted, purely because he's such a great player. What was he supposed to say when Birch stick a microphone in his face? I cant blame him for going to Blackburn. Premiership, Better Contract, Better Salary, at 31 a footballer would be mad to turn that oppurtunity down. As for scoring against us, thats his job. You shouldnt hold a grudge against a player that scores goals against your team IMO. Wasnt having a pop, theres just far too much negative stuff being said on here, I just wish people didnt whinge so much!!

Anyone who jeers Dickov or anything of the sort now is a cock. Football's football. People change clubs. He's back now, and deserves our full support again.

Wasn't really too keen on Dickov but he's here now so look at the positives, if he can bang a few goals in and help the kids improve then I'll be happy. stick him on the bench on saturday, he can come on with 20 to go and score the 5th....

Ultra Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 He played a significant role in our last promotion. Let's hope he does the same in our next. PS By gruesome coincidence, tonight's episode of "The Bill" featured an alleged rape. The (fictional) venue for this attack? Filbert Street.

A lot of the peripheral characters are named after cockerney footballers. They had Steve Perryman, Chris Hughton and (I think) Steve Archibald in one episode.
C-man Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Dickov! There's only one Dickov! I can't wait for the first time he chases a lost cause. The buzz from the crowd will be immense!
Matt Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Get over it. Get over what? The truth? The past? Fair enough, maybe you have a point. Now? With quotes of him saying he's a man of his word?
Little Nicky Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Dickov! There's only one Dickov! I can't wait for the first time he chases a lost cause. The buzz from the crowd will be immense! Ohh ya bugger I'd forgotten about that, can't for Saturday now! Come on you foxes, lets stuff the Mcdons!
Joe. Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Only just got back from my holiday so this is the first chance I've had to comment on this. First reactions, I'm pleased. I'm also surprised too; being on holiday I haven't heard a great deal and before I went I just assumed he'd go to either Blackpool or Toronto. I can't help but get the feeling Milan's offered him silly money to come here as well as the two year contract. Either way, I think he'll score goals, and that's what we need.

I'm not gonna deny,I was one of the people who was WELL pissed off with him when he left, but if he scores enough to take us back up and helps some of the younger strikers too, I'm more than happy to welcome the guy back.
