Head Honcho Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Bit laboured that? I agree but sounded like a great game and the players seem really up for it this season.
Flynny Posted 12 August 2008 Author Posted 12 August 2008 Do we have a back up left back ? Gilbert? Lee Cox or Kish RB?
Austin Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Do we have a back up left back ? Believe. Overall relatively happy!
egg_fried_rice Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 injury prognosis ? ? Think they are gonna run through that on the radio in a bit, after this dodgy cricket bloke...
bigneville Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 2 Wins. 2 Clean Sheets. I'm happy. Things can only get better.
Foxhateram Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 2 Wins. 2 Clean Sheets.I'm happy. Things can only get better. Great to get two wins in a row. Im slightly worried about our finishing though. It's been pretty damn poor in both games. We were lucky that we got that second goal against the run of play on saturday, otherwise MK would have asked us questions as they were begining to before our second goal. Tonight we held on well, and im impressed with the defending. However The game should have been tied up by HT the amount of chances we had was radiculous. The last 10 mins were full of chances that we wasted. it's slightly worrying.
Tilley Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Match was boring. DJ, Kish, Weso, Adams don't look up to it imo. Howard looked ok, Gilbert & Gradel look good. Wouldn't be suprised to see Gradel marked out the game on Sat. Would have enjoyed seeing it 11 vs 11.
lcfc81 Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 2 wins is the thing its been a while!!!!! Good to see we have got lots of players in an around the first team hey?
Jonezy Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Team is not gelling yet and we still dig out results. Thats a good sign innit!
Tilley Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Team is not gelling yet and we still dig out results. Thats a good sign innit! Yeah, the team looked far better Saturday. Nice to see us win but not play so well.
Salieri Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 We've gotta sign a left back asap even if only on loan. Any ideas???
isaidno Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Stick N'gotty on saturday, surely he can do the business at this level
Tilley Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 SIDE NOTE: I went for a pie as soon as we scored. Cannot stand this Chelsea Dagger shite everytime we score.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 We've gotta sign a left back asap even if only on loan. Any ideas??? Clive Clarke
Flynny Posted 12 August 2008 Author Posted 12 August 2008 Stick N'gotty on saturday, surely he can do the business at this level Were you at Hinckley? He's gained an amount of weight equivalent to every player we got shot of over the summer. Co-incidence? I think not.
davieG Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Mattock broken leg according to Billy Kee, stretchered out into an ambulance
SemperEadem Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Really feel sorry for Joe this is not what he needs at this stage of his career. I wish him a swift recovery
MikeyT Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Mattock broken leg according to Billy Kee, stretchered out into an ambulance Oh blimey. Thats terrible! Hope he gets on the mend as soon as possible!
Cropwellfox Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Mattock broken leg according to Billy Kee, stretchered out into an ambulance We'll see, but if the break isn't too bad it's probably better than a knackered cruciate ligament in terms of recovery time. In the meantime Gilbert LB, Hobbs RB and the bandwagon will keep on rolling on Sat. Pour Forward.
Asha Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Were a bit boring, but the result counts. Highlight was surely Dickov randomly switching on Jim Gannon Mattock were on oxygen as he left the pitch, must be a breakage.

Gilbert & Gradel just starting to understand each other down the right hand side.
