sdb Posted 15 August 2008 Posted 15 August 2008 i think i'd just put Hobbs in there. That way we don't have to reshuffle the team. I think League 1's a little good for him if i'm honest - he should be able to cope, not that it's ideal of course.
Bryn Posted 15 August 2008 Posted 15 August 2008 Tunchev will play left back tomorrow. You know that for sure? I think Hobbs is more likely to play rightback if not.

dandannieldanok Posted 15 August 2008 Posted 15 August 2008 I miss James Chambers. Don't see why everyone was upset to see him go, especially if you watch what happened in the Carling Cup against Notts County this week, he was a shambles. I could have rated 7 against Chester, they already look like a dreadful team after two games.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 August 2008 Posted 15 August 2008 I got as far as the centrebacks and got stuck. Who to have as the central pairing is really puzzling me, especially becasue I think Pearson will start Morrison.
Sods Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Henderson Gilbert Hobbs Morrison Tunchev Gradel Oakley King Dyer Howard Fryatt Subs : Dickhead, Campbell, Kishishev, O'Neil, Porter
Uncle Albert Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 End of training today.Subs will not know until day. Gracias Amigo. Just that I was told that Luke O'Neill was definetly starting tomorrow by a players girlfriend but she is about as realiable as a 3 legged horse.
Tevez Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Tunchev will play left back tomorrow. Thanks Nigel.
Uncle Albert Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Thanks Nigel. Nigel Pearson is on here? I have some questions for him. Tunchev left back? Why move someone who has been solid in the centre and move him to a position where he will not be effective will just unsettle him. Makes more sense to move Gilbert who is a natural full back over to left back and play Hobbs or O'Neill at right back.
Vo Rogue Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 He rejected a contract offer he now plays for Leeds, doesn't help our or have anything to do with our situation tomorrow. Only that he could have still been a Leicester player except for a far poorer offer than that from Leeds.

True, but Tunchev has played left back for Bulgaria, and therefore has some experience there. Stick Hobbs and Morrison in the middle and I think that's still a decent backline.
wallisjamblats Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Beswick might have been an option at left-back had he been fit, Whats the update on Beswick..... when is he likely to be back?

Jimmy Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 starting 11 confirmed but left back still not decided One ChangePosted on: Sat 16 Aug 2008 City boss Nigel Pearson has made just one change to the side that gained a 2-0 victory over MK Dons last weekend for the League One fixture against Stockport County. In comes Jack Hobbs, who is on loan from Liverpool, for the injured Joe Mattock. It remains to be seen who will start for the Foxes in the left back spot, with Kerrea Gilbert, Alexsandar Tunchev and Hobbs all in the mix for the spot. Paul Dickov is joined on the bench by Radi Kishishev, DJ Campbell, Levi Porter and David Martin. Matt Oakley retains the captain's armband in the absence of Stephen Clemence. City: Henderson, Gilbert, Tunchev, Morrison, Hobbs, Gradel, King, Oakley ©, Dyer, Fryatt, Howard. Subs: Kishishev, Campbell, Porter, Martin, Dickov. LCFC.co.uk
Flynny Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 Gilbert is playing left-back. Hobbs will be at right, I assume. If thats right its just what I said. Hooray.
