I once met Bobby Charlton and shook his hand but I didn't know it was him until afterwards.

It was at the LCFC vs. Man Utd game in 03/04 when we lost 4-1.

Hang on a minute chaps, I'm going to stick up here for Clairey Steps. She is no bigger than most women in the UK, and she has always stated (in women's magazines) she has always been under pressure to look thin, when she is not naturally thin. I read how she was having to go to extremes to keep the record label happy, and it's wrong that women have to half starve themselves for a pop career when male mooses like Daniel Beddingfield aren't told to get to the gym. In fact, many of the worlds most talented male artists are pig ugly, but this is ignored, however if a woman has to get on in the music industry, she has to be at the biggest a size 6 and prepared to bare her plastic baps in an instant. Right pisses me off.

Will try and pm them to one of you lot (without my bits) and then you can put them up here or whatever

If it's that embarrasing then it's probably too small to see anyway :dunno::P

Dangerous words there. May I refer you to Dagger's thread where women can be voluptuous and not offensive to the eye?

As an aside, I could never look like the women in Dagger's thread, as I have the wrong body shape and just look like a beach ball if I get over a certain size. We are all different shapes and sizes, and some women look a lot better with weight on, whereas others look better for being leaner. It still doesn't alter the fact that more allowance is given to the imperfections of the male form over the female. Why should women be judged on how they look, especially naked, when men are accepted for who they are and not what they look like?

Not exactly true.

No one really accepts me for who I am in terms of my general appearance, and in fact have been bullied because of it.

The fact that I'm small in comparison to most lads my age, generally not as muscular, not as strong, don't have a six pac, and basically look about four years younger than I am means I don't really get accepted amongst a lot of people my age.

So therefore, it's not just females.

very true  women often come out with this sort of crap

men are judged just as much on looks ( and on many other things ) as women are

that's the way life is i'm afraid

I'm really ranting about the music industry, and celebrity in general, which then leads to women being picked on more. People will always pick on those who are seen as different, and I feel for you, as I was picked on for the crime of wearing glasses. But there is so much pressure on women to be thin in the media. When I pick up a magazine and see a women with a normal body shape being branded as fat or untoned, or when I hear that my niece has been finding out how to lose weight when she has only just turned 10, then the papers report that eating disorders are on the rise, I'm sorry, it makes my blood boil.

I have already said that we are all different shapes and sizes, nobody should be made to feel bad about theirs because it doesn't conform with the latest aesthetic preferences of a bunch of tossers.

That's a real shame...she's not blessed in the looks department but the body was trim. >_<

I think she does look pretty.

But then again, I'm a man and my opinion is biased and based on hormone malfunction superficial judgement. :giggle:

Fair enough.
