James. Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Just heard that. BBC doesn't confirm it but I've been reliably informed it's true. Newcastle are a joke.
frenzal Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 I work in Newcastle and one of the lads just got a text saying that SSN have said that he's gone. Anyone seen it? Needless to say there's not much work getting done up here at the minute... Shame if true though as I like KK, a lot of the fans up here are blaming Wise for undermining him.
Tommy G Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Always on the cards with a club like Newcastle
samlcfc Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 ive just seen that on ssn. says hes left. I wasnt expectin him to be there for long , he doesnt like being told what to do.
Babylon Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Newcastle will get relegated in the next few years if they keep this up... they should have gone for O'Neil when they had the chance.
lookwhaticando Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 I thought things had been a little too simple the last few months. The comedy circus is back on the move. Still, at least if he does go, the managerial speculation won't last too too long.
Head Honcho Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Just heard that. BBC doesn't confirm it but I've been reliably informed it's true.Newcastle are a joke. ...............and Keegan has bottled it again! Hands off our Nige!
davieG Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 ...............and Keegan has bottled it again! Well if decisions on transfer are being taken with out his knowledge I wouldn't call leaving bottling it I'd call it having the courage of your own convictions.
frenzal Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ley-summit.html I may go for a gander up to St James' after work. Should be interesting.

Thracian Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 ...............and Keegan has bottled it again! Hardly. Keegan was kippered by his employers and the remarkable thing is that he put up with it for so long.
Head Honcho Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Hardly. Keegan was kippered by his employers and the remarkable thing is that he put up with it for so long. He's still bottled it!
The Reverend Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Nothing's confirmed though is it. SSN dont exactly sound sure.
Thracian Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 He's still bottled it! Put in an unacceptably uncomfortable position I'd say.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 The daily mail article seems to suggest that it is true - and lets face it, something was a brewing! It's sooo silly, because 4 points from 3 games, which included playing 2 of the top 4 is a really good return. I'm sure Wise has found himself some more fans, as well as us from Leicester and Leeds
Wycombe Fox Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle1637673.ece Dennis Wise
Head Honcho Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Put in an unacceptably uncomfortable position I'd say. 99% of managers would give their right arm to have been in his position. No team would turn down £12 million for James Milner-Villa have spent at least 30% too much for him. Anyway here's to Dennis Wise and relegation
Wycombe Fox Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Rightly or wrongly I've always seen KK as a manager with integrity. A manager who knows when it's time to leave and doesn't hang around just for the 'wedge' or compensation. The only plus point, I hope, is the chance to see Dennis Wise out of his depth.
Unabomber Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 He was sacked, according to SSN. That club is a joke.

Anyway here's to Dennis Wise and relegation To be fair - the reports I've read say he's been sacked - proberly down to his comments over the Milner transfer. That's not saying he wouldn't have left anyway. Ashley's PR trick has gone sour - time to down another 'non-alcoholic pint' me thinks. (And really - did he expect the police to buy that, what a lame excuse!)
Uncle Albert Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Deary me. Keegan would of got the best from Barton aswell.
