Keegan Gone!

Recommended Posts

I work in Newcastle and one of the lads just got a text saying that SSN have said that he's gone. Anyone seen it? Needless to say there's not much work getting done up here at the minute... :giggle:

Shame if true though as I like KK, a lot of the fans up here are blaming Wise for undermining him.

I thought things had been a little too simple the last few months.

The comedy circus is back on the move.

Still, at least if he does go, the managerial speculation won't last too too long.

...............and Keegan has bottled it again!

Well if decisions on transfer are being taken with out his knowledge I wouldn't call leaving bottling it I'd call it having the courage of your own convictions.

Is that a wise thing to say?

:(

Hardly. Keegan was kippered by his employers and the remarkable thing is that he put up with it for so long.

The daily mail article seems to suggest that it is true - and lets face it, something was a brewing! It's sooo silly, because 4 points from 3 games, which included playing 2 of the top 4 is a really good return. I'm sure Wise has found himself some more fans, as well as us from Leicester and Leeds

Put in an unacceptably uncomfortable position I'd say.

99% of managers would give their right arm to have been in his position.

No team would turn down £12 million for James Milner-Villa have spent at least 30% too much for him.

Anyway here's to Dennis Wise and relegation

Rightly or wrongly I've always seen KK as a manager with integrity. A manager who knows when it's time to leave and doesn't hang around just for the 'wedge' or compensation.

The only plus point, I hope, is the chance to see Dennis Wise out of his depth.

To be fair - the reports I've read say he's been sacked - proberly down to his comments over the Milner transfer. That's not saying he wouldn't have left anyway. Ashley's PR trick has gone sour - time to down another 'non-alcoholic pint' me thinks. (And really - did he expect the police to buy that, what a lame excuse!)
