Kilworthfox Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Did not go well this eve. Played for Tommo's team again and the scoreline was rather ridiculous. I'm not even gona post it. Absolutely woeful from everyone involved against an average at best side. And I managed to injure myself with nobody challenging me, which has left me with a very painful and swollen leg that I'm struggling to walk around on. Best £5 I've ever spent. <_< How you doing today mate?
lcfc_jme Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 How you doing today mate? Could be a lot better, sir. Leg remains relatively swollen and is painful to put my foot flat down on the floor still. Don't think I'll be going to training tomorrow night either, unfortunately. It'd have been better if somebody had at least clattered me, then I could half understand it, but this is just ridiculous. <_< How's the hand doing?

Durnerz Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 A commendable performance from my team tonight containing JoeyB who had a stormer and was unlucky not to score. Drew 3-3 in our first game this new season.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Me and my team have registered at Loughborough. Wednesday nights. Anyone played there and can they tell me if it's any good?
Durnerz Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Me and my team have registered at Loughborough. Wednesday nights.Anyone played there and can they tell me if it's any good? Is that the Soar Valley league? As my team are in the Radmoor centre thursday league.
Maybes Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Me and some of the parva boys are starting in a new monday night league at Lutterworth tonight. Should be interesting.
CosbehFox Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 £38 per week for 40minutes. Its a con. £20 reg fee aswell. Worked out in 4 seasons we played there = 56 weeks we spent around £2200 with them. Alot of money!! Funny you should say that because it's what I did today. There aren't many options in Leicester though. Seeing as we ran a reserves team elsewhere as well - down Superleagues at Freemans Park. That lasted a few weeks - worse than goals, more aggressive, refs drinking Bulmers and gypo kids with no shinpads. One chap tried down Lutterworth but found to be a mess in organisation. Judgemeadow was another option yet there are ultra strict on registeration etc. I just wanna win a trophy down Goals, so I can stick two fingers up to everyone. That and I am enjoying atm cos we aren't getting nailed every week. With Kun 'my Brother' Aguero, we can't stop scoring. Being a team from a forum with guys coming from different parts of the city and even one from the country, we are trying to keep it as central as possible.

JoeyB Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 I'd love to give you boys a friendly. Indoor/Outdoor whatever the weather. Durnerz get it sorted. If you could get to sutton bonington i could get it sorted at about £1 a head possibly
Maybes Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Me and some of the parva boys are starting in a new monday night league at Lutterworth tonight. Should be interesting. Good work tonight. Won the tournament and bagged 14weeks worth of FREE FOOTY. Yes then! Funny you should say that because it's what I did today. There aren't many options in Leicester though. Tomassi Posted 6 October 2008 Posted 6 October 2008 Me and some of the parva boys are starting in a new monday night league at Lutterworth tonight. Should be interesting. Campione Campione OLE OLE OLE !!!!
The People's Hero Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 Maidstone's very own Badger Rovers might be going on tour. Anyone fancy a match up?
Durnerz Posted 7 October 2008 Posted 7 October 2008 I'd love to give you boys a friendly. Indoor/Outdoor whatever the weather. Durnerz get it sorted. That can be arranged, we'll talk more about it Shaun.
CosbehFox Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Erm who exactly? The dodgy refs who show preference to their mates, the money-grabbings bleeders that run it (a few times they have tried to con us into thinking a friendly was a league game) and various clusmy, mardy plonkers in other teams.

Fair enough. We got our trophies then left. Expensive they were.
lildave3 Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Played for Manwell's team tonight, doubt i'll be asked back It's all incredibly hectic and hustly bustly for my liking.
Durnerz Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 Played for Manwell's team tonight, doubt i'll be asked back It's all incredibly hectic and hustly bustly for my liking. Did they tread on you?
Nod.E Posted 8 October 2008 Posted 8 October 2008 It's all about FC Aztec. 5 straight clean sheets. I believe i've just come back 5 games ago, non?
CosbehFox Posted 10 October 2008 Posted 10 October 2008 Lost 5-3 last night. Bullied. Bit like City against Millwall. Still only 3 from first and second but we have two games left. They is literally 5 teams spread over 3 points. 3 on 24pts and 2 on 21pts.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 October 2008 Posted 12 October 2008 Okay, so we've withdrawn from the Lobro league because it's indoor. Anyone know any decent places where me and my team can play that's half decent? Any contacts would be great. Cheers.
