Phube Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 Maybe because I'm subjected to the missus watching lots of history programmes, but the way in which the great car-parking charges meeting was filmed and edited (especially the closing statement on the bench) was just perfect! Also after each break the Channel 4 piss take was quality!
Raw Dykes Posted 27 June 2012 Posted 27 June 2012 I have to disagree with ozleicester about The Day Today. Obviously, with it being from the early 90s, the stories are outdated, but that takes nothing away from how good the series is. Incidentally, if you do watch that and enjoy it, you should enjoy Brass Eye, which is a sort of sequel. It's every bit as good, although sadly Partridge doesn't feature. Knowing Me, Knowing You was very good, but I think I'm Alan Partridge was even better. From The Day Today... http://youtu.be/2ypHjXPae_E
rico Posted 2 July 2012 Posted 2 July 2012 Anyone watching Alan Partridge On Open Books? 10 times funnier than last weeks effort
Saxondale Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 Someone's put 'Welcome to the Places of My Life' on YouTube. I'm not going to link it up here in case Murdoch's cronies come and beat me up or sue me for the GDP of a small nation, but I'm sure you all know how to use the search function on YouTube.
Phube Posted 10 August 2012 Posted 10 August 2012 I'm loving Mid-Morning matters. Especially the ex-SAS bloke interview
21st Century Fox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 It's actually ****ing happening!!!! They're filming the Alan Partridge film!!!!!!
rico Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 Looks awful. you do realise thats not part of the film?
Saxondale Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 Splendid and tremendous. I'd have gone for Colossal Velocity.
Daggers Posted 16 March 2013 Author Posted 16 March 2013 It will be more shit than a Pearson side based around Wellens.
Matt Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 It will be more shit than a Pearson side based around Wellens. Agreed.
Daggers Posted 16 March 2013 Author Posted 16 March 2013 Bollocks. I'm not having Matt agree with me - it'll be totally ace, more action packed than Moosebreath's mother's bedroom.

BoneDog Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 'TWAT! That was liquid football,' 'goal... And another' Superb, must have seen that clip a hundred times still makes me laugh. Yes, I think that "and another!" is my favourite line
21st Century Fox Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 Finally got the I, Partridge book on audio cd today. Not had a listen yet. 7 hours it's on for! "That very afternoon I parked up at my local primary school, wound down my window and handed bars out to the kids as they walked home. It was just a nice thing to do and the fact that the police were called says more about genuine pedophiles than it does about me. The constables and I laughed about the confusion, though there's no denying that I looked like a pedophile. Many of whom like myself at the time are paunchy. It's said they consume food as avariciously as they do explicit images of children." That's my favourite part of the entire book.
Captain... Posted 16 April 2013 Posted 16 April 2013 I an assuming that it is Steve coogan as Alan reading the audio book, although part of me thinks it would be more Partridgeesque to get someone completely inappropriate to read it such as Dave Lee Travi, or Katie Price.
