Mixed emotions tonight for those of us that were raptors fans from day 1. This video hit hard as we all can relate to the feelings. I've reached the point in life where what happened,  happened. Love Vince, the man took my love of basketball to another level. Was a hardcore Knicks fan before the raps came along and dropped them for the hometown team in an instant. Will never enjoy the quiting part or coming back to destroy us lol but the pros far outweigh the cons for what he did for basketball in Canada. Can't wait to see lowrys number retired next!

Appears the NBA thread has crawled off to die in the season the Cavaliers win 21 of their first 24.  First at Christmas, most likely ...

 

God forbid a side from a provincial city, with a few superb but under-the-radar stars, deployed to perfection by an excellent and likeable head coach, would mount a serious run at a title ....

 

We really don't want any more Leicester Citys?  Even in the NBA?!

Serious note, Cleveland have been fantastic this year. Looking at the other contenders, I dislike Boston , Warriors, Clippers and the Lakers.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing the Knicks or Cleveland playing against OKC or Houston on the finals.

Knicks were my team before the raptors came along and with Fred on Houston I have a soft spot. SGA is a fellow Canadian and most importantly a fellow Hamiltonian so super proud to see him excel at the highest of levels. Represent!

I finally watched Wednesday's Cavs-Thunder game.  The teams had won 85% of their games going into it. 

 

Ridiculously good, close, brilliantly played stuff.  A connoisseur's game.  In a league where most regular season games aren't worth taking the two hours to watch. 

 

And yet the silence in deafening.

Honestly, was shocked to hear about that. I certainly wouldn't be happy if I was a Mavs fan.

I'm a Mavs fan and I'm fine with it. I think he's wanted out of Dallas for a while now. He's often overweight and unfit and can't play defense. Plus AD is one of the best defenders in the league (when fit :ph34r:).

Trade package is still an absolute joke. If the Mavs were going to move Luka you'd surely want so much more in return.

This trade deadline has been bonkers. The Luka one is just so wild to me, and it’s going to be really interesting to see LeBron not be the main man on a team. Western conference just keeps getting more stacked with Jimmy coming over too.
