ScouseFox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 i think wigan on tuesday will take me to the big 20. think. some right shitholes along the way.
Leicesterpool Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 You do follow 3 teams though.... That's true but most of that list i've noticed are mainly leicester away games, haven't been to a boro away this season and just one villa away game this season. I tell you what i must have spent over thousand pounds on leicester away games since I started following them. Football certainly is an expensive hobby!
Lamby Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Leeds on Tuesday will take me to 54/92. Would have done 60 in total though.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'm at 37 current league grounds, 50 total, but it'll be 36 if Northampton go into the Conference.
Dan Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 There's 7 of the Premier League I'm yet to go to and two of them (Sunderland & Fulham) look well in relegation contention which would be a shame. The others are Arsenal, Newcastle, Tottenham, Liverpool & Everton and it's safe to say we'll be going to all five of them next year. That said if they're silly money then it can wait. It's only because we got Chelsea in the cup I've ticked that off. There's no way I'm shelling out the wrong side of fifty notes into Abramovich's back pocket.
AndWhat? Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Only Arsenal and Everton for me in the Prem. Arsenal can do one if they are charging £50+ a ticket though.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Arsenal charge the smaller clubs in the PL £25.50 will be one of the cheapest aways all season
Fox92 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Arsenal charge the smaller clubs in the PL £25.50 will be one of the cheapest aways all season Really? That's decent. I'm saving up so that I can try and get to the away games I've picked out. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are priority.
Dan Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Beat me to it Pboro. Arsenal are very good for the lower sides. Could see Spurs ripping us off. Is it true that they sell the upper tier first for £49 and then give you the lower tier at £36 when the upper has sold out? Man City charging West Brom £56 for a Monday game. They can stuff it as well if they charge us that.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 My list of Premier grounds still to do is Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man City, Southampton, Sunderland, Swansea, Tottenham, West Brom. Sadly my trip to Craven Cottage was when I won tickets to Fulham v Stoke last season, not the last ever game on the Putney Terrace in 2002.
Bayfox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Just redone mine, I've done 75 grounds in this country. 74 of which were to watch Leicester, the odd one out, field mill, to watch Torquay play there. a few of these are watching the same team play at 2 grounds tho, such as rotherham, ourselves, cov, man city etc. but i'll take that, my 2 deffos for next season need to be goodison park and ashburton grove. was shocked how far stockport have fallen since we last played them and the conference now has some sides in it, Grimsby, Luton etc, makes me glad we turned it round in L1 else who knows what could have happened
Fox92 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 was shocked how far stockport have fallen since we last played them and the conference now has some sides in it, Grimsby, Luton etc, makes me glad we turned it round in L1 else who knows what could have happened I agree. Went to that Stockport game, 0-0. Thought they were pretty decent as well. Weird to think they put an offer in for Maine Road when City moved to the Etihad. Couldn't imagine Stockport with that 35000 capacity.
AndWhat? Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 25 quid for an Arsenal ticket?? Less than Burnley?? Are you sure? That sounds to good to be true.
ScouseFox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 35.50 for west ham at arsenal in a few weeks and i'd say they were a bigger club/fanbase than ours, as well as a local one and one arsenal would probably look to exploit more than our lot, so could well be less than that.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 For example, Arsenal charged Southampton £25.50 this season. So even if it increases wont be much higher for us next season i would not have thought. We will certainly be classed in the same category as Stoke, WBA, Cardiff, Southampton and Norwich for sure EDIT : link to Cardiff OS with Arsenal ticket prices at £25.50 . http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/article/arsenal-away-tickets-1216634.aspx
isaidno Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I'm up to 22. Added Huddersfield , Bristol City , Stoke , Hertha Berlin and San Siro in the last year .
LCFC1996 Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 23 at the moment, got 3 more to add by the end of the season + hopefully a load in the prem
Leicesterpool Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 What's the furthest as anyone travelled to watch a football match?
isaidno Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 What's the furthest as anyone travelled to watch a football match? For me it's Spain . Espanyol vs Seville .
Bayfox Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 Carlisle took me 21 hours that day!!! For me only rotterdam.

By train I left Carlisle (the promotion game!) at 6pm and didn't get back until 12:15am, now that is a long arse journey. I got barred from the pub before the game too
