Samilktray Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 I'm shocked he's left. Your shocked that a proven bottler has... well, bottled it? Really?
lildave3 Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Your shocked that a proven bottler has... well, bottled it?Really? Proven bottler?
Samilktray Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Yeah, good team. Explain? I cant be arsed to be quite frank. Not that bigger deal to me.

Brainy Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 I got the impression that he thought he was bigger than the club itself. You're not alone
Corky Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 You're not alone Kareem is right. I thought he believed he was bigger than the club.
Ashley Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 Your shocked that a proven bottler has... well, bottled it?Really? Greybeard bottled it. How did he bottle it? Step up Big Sam as next SAFC Manager.
Samilktray Posted 4 December 2008 Posted 4 December 2008 How did he bottle it?Step up Big Sam as next SAFC Manager. Going got tough n he left?
dandannieldanok Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Just read on ITV teletext that Tony Cascarino (the great pundit that he is ) thinks Keane won't manage again because clubs won't trust him. I wouldn't personally go as far as him not managing again but I do agree with the principle that his hasty resignation will put some chairmen off.
Flynny Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 I think he's honestly decided he's making a poor job of it and doesn't have the skill to arrest their decline. Fair play to him. If he goes back in at a lower level my respect for him will be undiminished.

I hate this guy.
Unabomber Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Can't see him being back in management again for some time if ever again.
BoneHead. Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Can't see him being back in management again for some time if ever again. My money is on Forest if anywere.
l444ry Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 If taking over a club at the foot of the Championship, winning promotion and then surviving in the Premiership is failure....then so be it. Heard it all this before.................if Sunderland had been 10th in the table some wise sage would claim they should have been top 6. Give the bloke some credit for results even if the manner of his leaving leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Daggers Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 If taking over a club at the foot of the Championship, winning promotion, spending £80 million unwisely and facing relegation from the Premiership is failure....then so be it. Baffles me too.
Ultra Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 My money is on Forest if anywere. They'd take him tomorrow. He'd do a far better job for them than the present useless fcukwit in charge there. Talking of fcukwits, anyone who brands Keane a "bottler" should hang their heads in shame. If he was a bottler he wouldn't have the medal count that he does, nor would he have taken the Sunderland job on in the first place.
Stevosevic Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Bottler? Would somone who is labelling him this care to explain with some examples please, excluding resigning from Sunderland? I wouldn't say he bottled it though. Is every manager who resigns a bottler?
DB11 Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 Is every manager who resigns a bottler? Exactly. Micky Adams resigned from here remember.
Corky Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Exactly. Micky Adams resigned from here remember. What about O'Neill? He resigned from us and Celtic.
