knowitall Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Wolves have asked Leicester what the status is on one of their players. ermmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder whom? Bruno N'Gotty is out for at least six months. His contract ends with Leicester in June. Radostin Kishishev has signed for a Bulgarian club for six months. He will move there leaving his family behind. After six months he will see how things are going before he picks his next step. Players who have not appeared in the first team this season are being encourged to go out on loan. Leicester already working on this. Depending what happens in the transfer window, but dont be surprised if we sign Mark Davies on a contract.
C-man Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 £2 million + Mark Davies permanently? I wouldn't take £2million. It'd cost us a lot more than that if we fail to get promoted this season. Surely NP and MM know that Fryatt is worth more than that to us at the moment.
Jonezy Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 The best prices are in January, but our promotion bid will suffer if we sell either our goal machine or our MoM machine. Hopefully MM can stay calm...... Hopefully....

Surely NP and MM know that Fryatt is worth more than that to us at the moment. I agree with you, but we should definately stick to 'not for sale'. There's no doubt about it in my mind...we CAN NOT let Fryatt go. It's all very well assuming we'll bring in the perfect replacement who will start banging them in straight away...realistically, it's not happening.
davieG Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 If we have to sell players at this stage I see no reason why we have Mandaric owning the club - he's here because he's got some moolah isn't he!
Joe. Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 I see no reason why we need to sell any of our best players at the moment, they'll all be vital in helping us to get promotion this season. It wouldn't surprise me if a couple of clubs circled Tunchev, but I think at the end of the window we'll have the core of our squad still firmly intact. Assuming Mandaric and co get the their acts together fairly soon, Fryatt should pledge his future to us within the next week or so and we'll have him secured.
LCFC123 Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 The news about Mark Davies is positive and good to see the club is getting on top of players not involved with the first team. Wolves can keep their greasy hands off Fryatt.
GLC Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 it could be fryatt, but saying that it might be one of our other players, like mattock, tunchev, dyer or andy king, they dont really need a new striker, but they do need some cover at the back
Mickey O'Neil Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 I can see this ending in tears. +ve Wolves looking good in the table Not a million miles away from his family etc. Possibility of a bigger wage. A quiet word from Stearman. -ve erm..do you really think you'll be anything other than back-up for Ebanks-Blake ??
JoeyB Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 I can see a deal involving Fraytt and Davies swap on the cards. (Keogh as well would be nice)
potter3 Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 A Barnsley fan I was talking to reckons Fryatt's going there Because he's pals with Hume apparently
Asha Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Wolves have asked Leicester what the status is on one of their players. ermmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder whom? Any idea what our response was?
Joe. Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Any idea what our response was? **** right off I'd imagine.
James. Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Fryatt's going isn't he. It feels kind of inevitable. Bollocks.
Fatbloke Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 He MAY or indeed may NOT go in the summer but as I think I have said somewhere on here before he will not be leaving in January !!!
Maybes Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 A Barnsley fan I was talking to reckons Fryatt's going there Because he's pals with Hume apparently Exactly a Barnsley fan. Can they even read?
The Stig Posted 11 December 2008 Posted 11 December 2008 Fryatt's going isn't he. It feels kind of inevitable.Bollocks. I would have to agree Wolves would be perfect when you think about it. Premiership in sight, close to home, money and players to offer us, it's just going to happen. And as for Bruno leaving...
