No we haven't.

We've won 5 (3 v. Bristol Rovers and 2 v. Leyton Orient) and lost 7 (3 v. Brighton, 2 v. Swindon plus the 2 today).

.

Won 2 vs. Huddersfield.

Fair result, but annoying climax.

It said something that the biggest team in this division by a mile were publicly announcing before the game how big it was to them. They were well up for it today for the two reasons of new manager and playing the league leaders.

I thought first half we were the better side, though had a lucky escape when they missed a sitter. There is no question from today's viewing that we are a better team than Leeds. I just feel this fixture was more important to them than it was to us, and the hunger and desire they showed after the break paid off in dramatic fashion.

Frustrating, yes, but we're top of the league and are the best team in the division. No team wins every game.

Oh and finally, to that wank*r in the gents after the game going on about how sh1t we are and harping on about Brian Clough, if I ever see you again and you are moaning, I will tvvat you next time  . You are not a supporter, you are just a miserable c**t, there to whinge like a little girl. Stay in the pub ffs  .

It's a bad habit which Pearson inherited from previous regimes which he has to date been unable to dispel, and makes the difference between a nine-point lead (which would be virtually unassailable) and a two-point lead (which isn't).

Add 2 points at Huddersfield to that and it's 7 apiece.

Edit: someone got there before me. I really disagree with this rubbish about it being a "bad habit" though, I heard people at the game today saying things like that as well. It's just football, late goals happen. I didn't think they had many chances today and we just let a bit of a poor goal in at the end. We'd won 7 of our last 8 going into the game today and didn't concede any crucial late goals in any of those.

Happy with a point. As gutting as it is to concede late on, I always felt Leeds were going to score.

Bringing Dickov on was the wrong decision, we were left with no-one chasing the ball after Fryatt went off and it turned into a one-way finish. Could of been a lot worse had King (maybe Berner) not cleared off the line early in the first half.

Well played lads, roll on Hereford.

Yeah i agree, when Dickov came on and Fryatt went off we lacked someone closing down up front which allowed them to come onto us even more. Dickov seemed to play more of a midfield role, but didn't seem to do anything. I think it was Berner who cleared if off the line.

I thought Pearson should've taken Dyer off as he looked tired and should've brought Adams on

I thought we out played them first half but second half was even. We seemed to panic and surrender the midfield with 10 mins to go rather than trying to get forward, that said tho they were really coming at us

said i would take a draw before the game, 48 points from 22 games is amazing, anouying they scored late on, but we are stil well on course to be champs!!!

Just to nit-pick a little bit, I'm still not convinved by Berner.

Better slices than Mr Kipling.

Today never really took off in my opnion.

Something Just didn't feel right whether it was some unfamiliar faces in our end or the Meaty Stewards I don't know, but it certainly didn't fully deliver.

Massive blow to loose it in the final minutes but I could see it coming and fair play to them the ground was a-rocking at the end.

Big Steve as ever was great winning it in the air and chasing hard as was Davies, my motm.

At least we're still 5 points clear of the next proper team.

Bloody last minute goals - what is it with Leicester!

I pin it down to Dickov - with Fryatt and Howard, they kept chasing down the back 4 to hurry them, and they sent shocking passes forward. When Dickov came on, he didn't chase down hard enough, or when he did, went diving in so the defenders just turned him and then sent a better ball forward.

The ball didn't stick as well and our threat was gone. I'm not disagreeing with the decision to take Fryatt off, the front two looked nakered and it was sensible to keep Stevie on because he won almost every header (true not all went to our players, but still)

Would like to see the goal, why was the lad free at the back post? Martin didn't look happy.

Leeds were fairly quiet today (except for 5 minutes from the end) I wonder whats wrong?

I'd agree with that - something was definately missing today. Was a good day but didn't have that "x-factor" to make it a classic.

Pissed off but what can you do? Just keep give them the support.

Gilbert went walkies on the goal.

I did wonder where our right back was - I couldn't even find Gilbert after the goal, although I did get distracted by a couple of Leicester fans behind me telling the Leeds fans to 'fook off' and 'sit down' repeatdly in an agressive manor. (They didn't)

Won 2 vs. Huddersfield.

Agreed - forgot about that.

The original point still stands, though.

And conceding late equalisers (and in the case of Brighton a winner as well) three times in half a season is still far too frequent.

It's a Leicester trait - don't think we're ever going to get rid of the 'throwing away games' tag to be honest, it's just something we do!

What would our allocation be at your place ? I bet you'd have Leeds fans getting into the home stands as well as filling up the official quota.

I would think they would be thousands of Leeds fans at the walkers as your place is such a shithole now. The view in the away end is a joke just the seats plonked onto the old terrace and no one behind the bar could speak a word of english i just had to point!

One nice stand but the other 3 want knocking down to be honest. You have a lot of fans around where I live but they are just people who jumped on the bandwagon when Leeds were doing well and are stuck with them now so they will probably turn up and make out there loyal fans, Leeds utd has become a total shambles.

To be honest as disappointing as it was conceding a late goal, I am still happy with the result. It was always going to be tough today up a against a re-juvinated leeds side with a new bystander in the dugout. Aswell as a good crowd at elland road in numbers with all the part timers having dusted down their scarves for their boxing day trip to the footy.

The game itself the first hour of the game I thought we pretty much dominated and took the game to Leeds, however the last 30minutes we just looked like a completely different side. We seemed to just be hoofing the ball all the time and really struggled to keep hold of the ball. I was very disappointed and anxious to see us just sitting back and we really did invite leeds on to us and it was only a matter of time before they hit the net. I will take full blame for this as on around 87 minutes I turned as said to fellow city supporters "I have bad memories of Elland Road and late goals and I can just see them scoring," and they did just that.

MOTM without a doubt was Mark Davies, he was a cut above anyone else on the pitch. Fryatt did well upfront again linking up nicely with big steve. I really dont think anyone had a particularly bad game if im honest although David Martin did look shaky at moment.

Stewarding lol Well I managed to stand up for the full 90, while feeling the full brunt of the head steward. He came up to me at half time and started lecturing me about if I was standing in the second half he would have me ejected from the stadium. He also said "I will have my big 'BURLY' men come and sort you out" much to my amusement I responded "I dont think you can have me beat up mate". All that said, I persisted with my standing and didnt hear a peep from a steward all second half. Cock.

I'll take a point looking back, but I was pretty pissed off by that goal, could see it coming.

For 75 minutes, we won the ball at the back easy enough, then played it out and built an attack. After that we just hoofed it, did nothing.

Ah well. Thought Davies was quality again, really impressive. Tunchev too but that goes without saying I suppose.

I just about managed to get away with standing too :giggle: , despite the efforts of those pathetic stewards.

Not really. We got exactly what we deserved for being so negative from the moment we scored.

It's the sort of thing Southampton did last season against both us and anyone decent.

We could have continued taking the game to Leeds. We could have used someone like Gradel to drive at Sheehan rather than Dickov who's done what so far since he's been here?

We just donated two points in almost as shameful a way as we did at home to Charlton last season and it is so typical of today's footballing philosophy.

Did we even have a single shot second half against a more than ordinary defence?

Unlike you to moan about a game you weren't at Thrach.

When you reply as no doubt you will perhaps you could comment on whether yesterday's sprouts that I had for dinner were cooked properly. I know you weren't there either but that doesn't stop you knowing best does it?

I have a sneaky feeling that they were arranged in a very poor formation and some of them were too old and occupying plate space which younger sprouts should have had held free reign in.

Oh and btw, I know it was sickening at the time and it pissed me off no end, but how loud was that roar when they scored. Not a Chelsea Dagger in sight.

Were you in the corner bit of the stand today about five rows back? Someone was up and dancing at the Leeds fans and I couldn't tell if it was you or not from where I was sitting!
